The crew was fantastic! Andrew was awesome, as were the entire crew. We didn't make it out of the bay before a GrayWhale and her baby spouted not 10 feet from our boat! We would have paid double for the experience of a lifetie. I lived a and worked on fishing boats in Alaska and these guys are top notch.... More

They were great, got a little seasick but they headed back so the sickies would feel better and they cruised around the bay before docking. No whales were seen but we expected we would not since its later in the migrations. Was my first time out to sea , even thiugh I felt a little sick it was still a... More

I've enjoyed several fishing trips with Newport Tradewinds. The latest being this week-end for a 3 hour bay crabbing trip. We ended up catching 4 keepers each for the 9 of us on the boat, and really had a good time pulling pots and sorting the crab. Very family friendly for the older kids as well (think it was a... I liked the folks from Tradewinds right away when inquiring about the trip on the phone. We orinally signed up for the bottom fishing trip, but weather made that impossible. We did do the crabbing trip in the bay. Our group was small, you need a minimum of six people in order to go. We had three parties of two.... More

Really this is a boat ride close to shore. Not really very enjoyable. Can see as many whales along shores in area,as I said boat stays pretty close to shore. We did see 'a' whale, and crew only seemed to follow it around. Can't say I would reccomend.

I will never go out on a charter boat with this company again. The boat, the Ilwaco Indian, was almost an hour late going out. On charters, you pay for a certain number of hours. The only reason you should fish less is because everyone catches their limit. That didn't happen. We left late and came in on time so... More

This was by far our best fishing trip ever. We went rock fishing on the Sea Pirate with Captain Eric and Justin. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time from our 13 year old daughter to my 63 year old mom. The crew made the whole experience fun with jokes and kept us in the fish. Our whole boat... More

Four of us went salmon fishing on the "Enterprise" last week. The boat was nice and we all caught our limit of salmon, but a rude deckhand really put a damper on our experience. He yelled at my daughter and I several times when we weren't putting our fishing poles in the correct position and was extremely rude and condescending... More

Went on the "Misty"; the crew was great! Cpt knew exactly where to go; all passengers limited out in about 1 1/2 hours, we even caught fish for all the crew. Andrew on the Misty was really fun to have aboard. The office staff is very efficient and helpful. Filet / bag crew was wonderful. Newport Tradewinds made the trip... More
