We stopped hoping to test out my husband's new metal detector. This wasn't the place to do it. Not very crowded which is a good thing. If you go pay attention to the cliffs. Water was continuously running from between the rocks, places where the face of the cliff fell away just leaving the vegetation making a ceiling over the... More

Great place for pictures, rocks, and shells. Found it a bit difficult to walk on it but otherwise it was a fun stop.

Easy access in a car but forget it if your in an RV. It's a small parking lot. Beautiful beach that's not crowded at all. Great place for a picnic. It's a short stroll to the beach and an easy return.

The turn off for this beach comes up fast along the highway which is probably why the parking lot was empty. It's a short walk down to the expansive beach. There was a small rocky creek that ran down to the ocean which provided a good area to wash the sand off afterward. Restroom facilities available.

Great beach to walk if you prefer no crowds. There are also picnic tables. We found a few agates and fossils.

Even in the rain we got out of our car to take pictures. The view is beautiful any time of the year.

The bridge over the creek is very beautiful and allows those with handicaps such as a wheelchair or scooter to observe an wide array of birds.

Nice place to take a break or walk to the beach. Right on Hwy 101. Not for RV's as is just a small parking lot but nice to stop and look at the waves with no view obstructions.

Lost Creek State Park is yet another small state park along the coast. Like the rest, it makes for a nice beach area to enjoy the ocean. It doesn't have a standout attraction like Seal Rock, but it would still be worth the time to take a break if need be. The path down is very short and simple. If... More

The windswept trees make a pretty backdrop for pictures and the beach is very nice. Good place to take a quick break from the coastal drive.
