One of the best aquariums I have been too. Great touch pool for the kids and the volunteers are very knowledgeable. The shark tunnel is always a treat.

It's a nice aquarium, you can tell they put a lot of though and attention to details into it. I'm finding out that I like zoo's more than aquariums. It was cool to walk through a tube in the shark tank, and we got to see them feed the sharks (which wasn't as cool as it sounded - no live... More

The exhibits are outstanding and the layout is great. My favorite is the display of exotic jellyfish and the corridor where you walk along with the fish swimming all around you. The place is usually crowded which says something of it's popularity...

The aquarium was interesting for me. As a traveller from Australia, visiting a place like Newport was interesting, so it was cool to learn about the different types of fish and other species along the Oregon coast. I agree with other users when they say it was a bit pricey. Good to visit, but be prepared to pay.

The aquarium is worth the visit, however we felt like the entry fee price was a little too much. It was almost $20 apiece for adults. We did enjoy seeing all the fish, sharks, otters and other attractions. The walk through tunnel is very interesting to see all the sharks and other fish swim around you. There are some areas... More

We spent 5 hours there, enjoyed the sea otter feeding and the info given to the spectators during the feeding. It is a small place and has connections with the Monterrey Bay Aquarium and the nearby Hatfield Marine Science Center. The inside information exhibits were numerous for kids, not so many for adults. Enjoyed our time spent there, and the... More

Regardless of the good things we kept hearing about this aquarium, we had zero expectations before visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. Had a great afternoon exploring the exhibits and really enjoyed the otter feeding.

It's a bit pricey (several people were turning around at the front counter because of the price), but I had to keep reminding myself that it's for a good cause. The docents are very friendly, informative, and are more than happy to share their information. Get there early to catch the Sea Otter feeding (10:30 am), we missed it by... More

Rates very well and is like a mini Monterey Bay acquarium. The staff is knowledgeable and the animals well cared for as is the entire place. Many references were made for Monterey Bay so they have learned a lot. Hightly recommended!
