The Oregon Aquarium was a site to see! Biggest seahorses I have seen yet. Great shows, ease of access to exhibits. Bird exhibit was great.

The touch pools are fun for the kids. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This is also a great place to educate the kids on the many types of sea life and respect for them. Can be a little pricy for a whole family.

Lots to see, all types of fish and marine animals, an aviary, petting pool and the most popular sea otter exhibit. Was a $17.95 senior rate. Kids were having fun and lots of room to roam. I'm sure it is crowded during summer but there were a number of young ones at spring break time.

We visited here many years ago when it had not been opened long. Back then, it had not been a good visit due to many busloads of students crowding the place and pushing their way to the front of every exhibit. With a chip on my shoulder, I decided to give it another chance. Glad I did. It was very... More

I read a review below that said this was a great place for younger children. And I find that very true. My five and eight year old absolutely loved this aquarium. They do feelings of different animals for the children to watch. Which is also fun for the adults. The deep sea portion is really need for the adults. However... More

If you have children younger than 8, I would highly recommend this aquarium. It is very interactive and the staff was amazing with our three year old daughter.

There is a lot to see and do at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. It is a nicely cared for property with many educational options. However, it seemed a bit pricey for basically an 'ocean zoo' experience.

Aquatic life has always been fascinating to me. It's a shame the former whale exhibit is no more. While not the fault of the aquarium, I may have been writing a different review were it still there. Sure, the café there was pleasant and made a decent cup of coffee. There were also nice souvenir shops on site. Though these... More

We always take our grandkids to the aquarium whenever we visit Newport. They loved the hands on activities for little ones ... spent a good 15 minutes in the little fishing area. They liked the outside areas where the saw the birds close up. Their favorite area was after walking through the "tube" and getting their picture taken inside the... More
