A really good day out for the family, but maybe my expectations were too high? There is nothing here that marks it out from what we've seen at the London Acquarium, SeaLife, or dare I say it Legoland Windosr....?

Nice sprawling site with sea birds, seals, sea lions, jelly fish ... Enjoyed presentation with brown pelicans -- which was informative and not exploitative of the birds. Didn't have kids with us, but those we saw were having a great time. Volunteers around to answer questions. Many of the exhibits were outdoors, so if weather is sunny wear a hat.

Located in Yaquina Bay, this aquarium, although quite small, is always worth a visit. The displays and exhibits focus on conservation, research and education. The exhibits are well designed and adequately maintained. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

We took our grandchildren ages 2, 4 and 5 to the aquarium. It's got a good combination of indoor and outdoor exhibits. The kids loved the aviary. The Tufted Puffins were really showing off. The other favorites were the sea otters and the Passages of the Deep. Passages is an underwater exhibit where you walk through tubes with fish and... More

Wonderful aquarium. The touch pools and tunnel tanks were my kids favorite. Plenty of activities. Excellent quality.

This was a very nice aquarium with interesting and well done exhibits. We particularly enjoyed the jellyfish and otters.

Our four year old had a blast seeing the sea life and birds. The adults enjoyed the sea wreck museum along with everything else. I think I got some good pictures. Viewing of the water animals was convenient for all to see.

Wife and daughter spent time at the aquarium while I was fishing and they had a great time. Lots of glass tunnels to view the fish from under the water. The only draw back was the price. $20 per adult and $12 for children.

I get that aquariums are limited to what can be placed behind glass and rock structures but in all honesty - aside from regional aquatic life to enhance the area's exhibits, they all, for the most part, look alike. I like puffins and have an extensive collection of puffin collectables so the Oregon Coast's up-close and personal horned and tufted... More

What a nice trip to an Aquarium! It is very hands on. We can touch little replicas of tide pools and many kinds of sea life that reside there. They have all types of fish that are in the region. And it is fun to actually "play" with the displays. Very hands on and user friendly for folks all ages!
