While the entrance fee seemed a bit high, at the senior rate at least, the aquarium itself is a great experience. The shark tank is wonderful and the hands-on activities for kids are fantastic. Lots of knowledgeable volunteers on hand to answer questions and exhibits both inside and out. It's a real treat.

The Aquarium as a whole is well done.....lots of interaction for the children and a good assortment of marine life. The disspointment came when looking at some of the exhibits tanks and the bottomless floor in the Tunnel...they need to be replaced or renovated...you are supposed to be able to see the marine life through the glass floor but it... Quite a few interactive things for kids to do which they loved. Favorite part was the tunnels with all sorts of Fish & Sharks swimming around you. Definitely worth the visit.

This was a fantastic aquarium. We almost did not go, because we have a very large aquarium near our home and were not sure how it would compare. However, we were able to see lots of amazing things such as the fantastic jellyfish room and touch pools...We liked that a lot of the exhibits were outside so it was just... More

This is a small aquarium but it has some impressive displays and inhabitants. The colorful puffins were popular, the sea lions and otters and the tanks of sharks and sting-rays. There is a large collection of starfish and sea anemones and a touch tank for the brave. There was an enormous tank of just one species of jellyfish...lots of jellyfish.... More

This aquarium was a lot of fun! So many exhibits to see; the otters, puffins, seals, sharks, various fish, sea horses and much more! The informational stands by each exhibit or sea life was great to read and learn. The grounds were clean, gift store had neat items and the staff seemed friendly. Some may say the entry price is... Small aquarium you only need 2-3 hours but very well done, feels like your walking amongst the rocks discovering new exhibits. Loved the underwater tunnels filled with sharks and fish that was very cool for the kids, Excellent gift store with unique gifts!

This is the cutest aquarium ever. If you are driving the Oregon coast take time to stop in Newport and visit this aquarium. The octopus on display is the best. The gift shop has some unique items also.
