We have been to Rex Hill several times and always have a good experience. The nice grey-haired gent treats us well and answers all my questions. Wine is good; pinot gris right now is beautiful. Wish they had more 2008s, but what they have is quite good.

Rex Hill is one of my favorite wineries close to home. The tasting room is lovely and warm with a great experience for learning about how our wines are made in Oregon. The staff are very helpful and nice. Being a member of the wine club is a bonus as Mike, their on staff chef is great at teaching pairings... More

I can't wait to go back to Portland so I can visit more wineries in the summer when you can see how beautiful they are! Luckily, one that I was able to visit was Rex Hill and it will go back on the list anytime I head back to Portland. The wine was great, the people were helpful, knowledgeable and... More

Rex Hill is a fun place to visit. Good wine, nice people, a little history and a little education all combine to make a good beginning to a day trip from Portland. I especially like the "essence table". It has glasses which each have a different essence commonly found in wine (leather, vanilla, coffee, etc.). You can try a wine... More

My wife and I had a great winery tour with Mike. He showed us around the winery and educated us on their processes. I'm traditionally not a Chardanay drinker, but found a new favorite while sampling at Rex Hill.

One of the best places for wine tasting in OR. They have some great wines that never get out to the website or stores. Also.. close to town.. and easy to find. The people in the winery tasting room were helpful and not pushing sales on you.

They had some nice Pinots and the tasting fee was waived after I bought a bottle. Easy access as it is right of highway 99w.

They make really good wines. We took several home and really enjoyed the tasting. The server was knowledgeable and we learned a lot. It is a great place to put on your list when you visit the area.

This winery is very cool, the inside has a sort of cave set up with all the varietals on display, i suggest trying it at least once, they have big huge reds, and they are all complex and delicious. The only problem I have is the tasting fees are large and the individual bottles are a bit spendy.

This is one of the first stops on the drive to Dundee and other wineries. The tasting room is cute, but only room for about 6 people to taste at the bar. Usually find one or two wines we like.
