As previous guests have stated, a highlight of the visit is your interaction with the owner/ winemaker. As this was the day before thanksgiving we were his first and possibly only guests of the day. The wines were excellent. I prefer red wines and often do not even sample the whites but his chardonney was one of the best in... More

On our wine country tour a stop at the perfectly named Utopia was imperative. The property was lovely, even in the rain, and the wines delicious. Add to that the down home hospitality of Dan, and you will find it difficult to leave.

No snobbery, no pretentious attitude here. Dan, the owner/winemaker, greeted and poured us excellent fruit forward wines...among them whites which are hard to come by in this Pinot Noir region. Dan's grapes are harvested by hand and he's committed to producing world class wines. Wished we'd had space in our car to take home his hand-made barrel slatted chairs. Instead,... More

Small, intimate tasting room that is manned by the wine maker himself. Learned so much and just liked him a whole bunch. Beautiful setting. Wonderful wines. Especially loved the Reisling. Well done, Utopia.

My husband and I made the Ribbon Ridge walk, visiting multiple wineries along the way. Hands down Utopia was our favorite! What an amazing experience meeting and enjoying the company of the wine maker and his daughter. The tastings were very generous and we enjoyed everyone. I am not fan of Chardonnay but hands down this was my favorite. I... More

Utopia was the final stop of our two day self-guided wine tour which we chose because our B&B innkeepers recommended it s a good value wine. Unfortunately, the wine owner was away on a trip so we didn't get a chance to enjoy his company. We had been looking forward to that based on the our innkeepers' conversation with us... More

Excellent wines and very friendly personnel with two Bocce courts available to enjoy with some time and wine on this beautiful site. AVA Ribbon Ridge, simply put fun with yum!
