We've done a few vacation horseback rides, and this was the best. My 7 and 9 year olds were just off of a week-long horse camp, so, of course, they were eager to ride some more. Our week on the coast happened to be wet and rainy, but we lucked into skies that stayed clear enough for our hour-long ride.... More

We went there to relax, go out to dinner and walk the beach. I would have liked a little more sun but the view was so breathtaking that took the place of the sun.

Manzanita has been our regular late summer vacation spot for over a decade and Oregon Beach Rides is one of the highlights of the trip. Right up there with Hug Beach and Haystack Rock. An experience not to be missed. Run by a wonderful family of good spirited souls who take great care around safety, starting with choosing the right... More

I grew up riding horses but stopped once I moved on to college. One of my "bucket list" items was to ride a horse along the ocean and another "bucket" was to go to Oregon. So this was PERFECT! The guides, Judy and her son Justin, were awesome! They were very knowledgeable and down to earth, which made it all... More

I loved the scenery and the peacefulness of the beach. I look forward to returning and bring my wife along with me.

Wind, ocean and on a horseback; life does not get much better. Had a wonderful 2 hour ride today.. Horses were very well taken care of, tack excellent and guides were friendly and experienced. Nature trail followed an hour or so on the beach was beautiful; sand dunes, greens, drift wood and in the river tons of seals. Great Saturday... More

I have always wanted to ride a horse on a beach and our experience at the Oregon Beach Rides was great. Mike, Heather, Mike’s Mom and their staff were so easy going that being this was my first time on a horse it was very stress free. Did the one hour ride and it was long enough for a novice.... More

I had the chance to ride with my experienced 75 yr old mom. The staff was great. Horses were in great shape. Well behaved but not sleepy plugs. The guides were very respectful of beach walkers moving well out of their way whenever possible I can't wait to go again next year. Thanks so much for such a memorable time... More

I have ridden here for many years and gone every year. A great place. the camp blocked from beach winds by the dunes. You will see eagles feeding in the early evening(just remember to stay away and dont disturb them). You will also see deer at times.Great place to ride and camp.

I took my 6 year old daughter to rent two horses and a guide for a beach and trail ride. We tried renting horses in Cannon Beach, but they were very strict with their child policy and wouldn't let my daughter ride. So we took the short drive from Cannon Beach to Nehalem Bay State Park and it was worth... More
