We hiked a short in and out from foster bar trailhead into paradise lodge and back, very hot, little water, grueling up hills, a lot of poison oak, snakes and the occasional black bear. This is not a trip for beginners. Sleeping under the stars along the bank was cool.

The Rogue is a beautiful and wild River. It has lots to offer besides its great beauty. I've done raft trips many times and they are awesome, Fishing is outstanding. It is cold so be prepared. The wildlife viewing in many areas is awesome. It does have some fast moving rapids so be sure you are qualified and do your... More

When I first moved to the Rogue Valley my husband and I took two grandsons to inner tube on the Rogue River. In my childhood I spent a lot of time going down rivers on an inner tube, so didn't think twice about doing this. We scoped out 2 miles of the Rogue River from Gold Hill to Valley of... More

They made it so easy by taking up the river to just below the dam and dropping the raft in the water. There were enough little Rapids to... More

Rented a kayak and floated down the river with a group of friends. Beautiful country, amazing ride, great cliff jumping into the river, a memorable trip for sure. Also appreciated the Cougar Whistle we received at the rental place. Still have it to this day!

Always a fabulous experience. So much fun! You've got to push off at the Lost Creek Lake hatchery and float down to Shady Cove. It's an absolute blast, and a cheap day-long activity! Just don't forget to bring plenty to drink because It's hot out in the summer!

I love this wild river. Beautiful! Powerful! I recommend a raft trip and/or a jet boat trip! Be sure to bring a camera and sunscreen.
