Boundary Springs, inside Crater Lake National Park is the headwaters of this beautiful river. I could get in a lot of trouble telling "outsiders" just how wonderful this river is. Locals have tried to keep quiet about secret fishing spots, hidden campsites, gold mines, waterfalls, and the tree lined river boasting some of the finest scenery in the world. I've... More

The Rogue offers a wide variety of things to do for everyone. You can swim, you can fish, you can raft, you can ride the white water with little kids, or you can get a permit and ride world-class rapids on the lower river. A jet boat ride is a great way to see the middle section of the river... More

The Rogue is one of Oregon's Best, especially the wild and scenic section. There are jet boats at the mouth of the River for long trips, and a shorter (but funner) jet boats that leave from Grant's Pass. Both are amazing and you get the see some great river scenes.

Really didn't spend too much time by the river other than having lunch and taking some pictures. Right on the way to Crater Lake National Park. Very nice area though.

One of the most beautiful, tranquil rivers in the world! The greatest fishing, swimming, kayaking, rafting and recreational river not including the other areas surrounding this beautiful country.

I and my wife just finished 6 months as caretakers for BLM at the National Historic Rogue River Ranch. This is must see location, either hike in, drive in or raft in to this unique place. Be sure and stop at either Medford BLM offices, Grants Pass offices or in the summer the Rand Visitors Center near Galice, Oregon. Get... More

A trip thru the wild and scenic portion of the Rogue river is a must for many outdoor adventurers. I was surprised at the beauty with waterfalls, deep canyons, great trees with ospreys and bald eagles. Take a good guide for it is a difficult river to navigate. Nanvy
