Small town, nice location, not much there. LOCATED ON THE ROGUE RIVER, Annual Rooster Crow Contest is it's claim to fame

The Rogue River National Forest is a great place to visit and check out some of the B & B's right alone the river. We stayed in one and it was lots of good food and very enjoyable. We still want to go down the river on jet boat, maybe this year. Well enjoy.

The Rogue River is fun no matter where you go from Grants Pass to Shady Cove in Southern Oregon. I just happen to think Shady Cove is dreadful! However, Grants Pass has a great restaurant right on the river, and just across the street is HellGate which has guided rafting tours that look like a lot of fun! You will... More

We have often taken the guided boat trip on the Rogue River in the summer, leaving from Grants Pass, OR. Lovely scenery, often a view of wildlife, and something different to do with guests. The guides are often fun, spinning the boat around to the enjoyment of everyone. Tip: don't sit in the front 2 rows or on the outside... More

My experience was good, it was funny and not scary to do the rafting. But I was very cold, but it was a rainy day so I think this was something that did not complete my score on this place. But in the end it was a good experience! Suites family and friends in all ages.

Enjoyed watching the boaters out on the river. Lots of wild life around, spent the day taking photos and enjoying nature.

Many spots to get in and out. River comes down the Rogue River Valley from Crater Lake, so its a pretty drive if you go to the park on this road, Crater Lake Drive.

This is an epic time for the Rogue River. In the last few years, three older main stem dams -- Savage Rapids, Gold Hill and Gold Ray – have been removed resulting in 157 miles of free flowing river. A fourth dam on Elk Creek has been notched. These barrier removals benefit fish and humans alike. I use to live... More

This is a super fun activity for young and old alike! Hellgate Jet Boats out of Grants Pass is just 30 miles from Medford, and offers several different trips daily. We have done just the boat ride, and also the brunch and lunch trips. The last time we went, we had eagles fly right over us! We have seen numerous... More
