McMinnville continues to grow while retaining its small town charm. One sign of the growth is the new crop of tasting rooms popping up throughout downtown. Willamette Valley Vineyards has been here for several years, and by establishing a second tasting room in addition to the Mother Ship in Turner, it clearly establishes itself as a regional and national player.... This was one stop on the birthday scavenger hunt my friends did for my birthday. The decor was clean and inviting and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was live music being played and best of all the wine was fantastic!

The new tasting room is inviting and comfortable. The remodel is outstanding and the young woman who served us is a pro who knows wines and how they are made. Willamette has a variety of good wines so it is truly impressive when the servers know about each and every vintage and AVA. We received enthusiastic and friendly greetings and... More

We enjoyed our visit to the McMinnville Tasting Room. The town is charming, and the Willamette Valley Vineyards wines are amazing . The customer service here is outstanding. Not only were we able to try both the regular and the premium flights, but we were able to sample additional wines as well. Kevin and Crystal worked together to give us... More

The first time I visited the Tasting room in McMinnville I was warmly welcomed and I was very pleased. It was on one of the Monthly Art and Wine walks our community has seasonally. The walk is supposed to begin at 4pm. None of the downtown businesses were even close to ready and it was very frustrating. The tasting room... More

On a recent trip from Depot Bay to Portland, we took the road less traveled; stayed off I-5 and took 18 to 99N. During this wending of our way we discovered more than 20 wineries that had tasting rooms open at 1PM on a Thursday. The tasting room in McMinnville was one such fabulous place. The people were friendly, knowledgeable... More

After two long days of wine tastings, we stopped at the Willamette Valley Vineyards Tasting Room while waiting for our dinner reservation time down the street. At this time in the late afternoon, it was relatively empty and quiet. Comfortable seating. Great wine selection. But it does get crowded when the live music is scheduled. So arrive early and grab... I did the estate tasting for $15 and ended up taking several things home from the gift shop. The tasting itself wasn't mind-blowing, but the views from the winery were amazing. The day I went it was incredibly great weather. You have to check out the patio.
