On our recent tour of Oregon casinos from the eastside to westside we found Chinook Winds' gaming much better than the Spirit Mountain casino that was about a half hour's drive inland. We visited twice while in town this last weekend and I didn't learn my lesson the first time. :) I played just the penny slots the entire 2 hours on a $20 bill...he played only Blackjack at the $5 buy-in tables. Neither of us did well either night. Was exceptionally busy on Saturday night where you could hardly get through... more

Tribal Casinos- they all have their own slots set to the worst possible payouts: and I have been to plenty from Colorado thru California. Save it for Nevada, enjoy the food and fabulous view, but do not tangle with the rip tide. more

I played at this casino during a pool tourney. We all complained how tight all the slots were. the food was very expensive and the buffets were poor quality and poor selection. Why eat at the casino when there are so many good ocean view restaurants on the coast. We won't gamble there again. more
