I searched the internet and had information sent to me. The lady at the visitors center located in the cultural center was far better than anything I found! She told us about great small hikes located right in Lincoln City. Awesome time fillers. None took longer than 30 minutes but we'll worth it!

We visited for the Jambalaya Cook-off in February 2014. We had come to the 2013 one and really enjoyed it so thought we'd come again in 2014. Admission to the event is free, but then you purchase "tokens" for 50 cents each that you can use to get samples of the different jambalayas. You can also purchase larger bowls if... More

Chef Liz Lesesne and Sharon West are amazing! Traveled from Medford Oregon and it was well worth the trip. The ladies were personable, knowledgeable and talented. Left with fantastic recipes and one of the best meals ever.

We completed our 4th class today and I'm hesitant to give a review because we love coming to these classes and we'd hate them to become so popular that it would be hard to join a class. Travel from Eugene. Chef Sharon is organized, informative in an easy manner and makes the classes fun whether a Demo (prepared for you)... More

I was there for the Jambalaya Cook-off and also for the South Meets West cooking demonstration. All of the food was incredibly delicious and the Chefs are very personable and friendly!

We visited in January 2013, for the Jambalaya Cookoff. First time we'd been to any of their cookoff events (they also have a fish taco one and clam chowder and maybe some others throughout the year). We enjoyed the jamalaya event. It was very crowded, though - apparently more and more folks are hearing about these events and coming to... More

Whenever I come to the Oregon Coast I plan ahead to enroll in a Saturday cook class (usually 11-1). The menu varies and the instructors are consistent! Class of 20. Overhead monitors to watch professional cooks do their thing...wonderful food, fun people, accompanied by 2-3 glasses of wine. $50...what a steal! Go alone or with friends.
