Good, little, volunteer run museum about local life. Includes native native items and stories, early settler, and industry stories, and modern environmental issues. Small enough to see all in just an hour or two yet easy to stay longer. Changing exhibits mean youll always see something new.

I have been a history nut since I was a kid. Now my wife gets to go to all the "old places" and museums we pass and is catching on. The North Lincoln County Historical Museum is a "piece of history" that every traveler to Lincoln County needs to experience. The staff is friendly and loves to share local stories.... More

My mom and her husband came for a visit from Arizona . Money is tight so finding expensive activities can be difficult. We stopped in and did the walking tour and learned about a lot of local history. I do live here but I did not grow up here so it was neat learning about our town. My husband was... More

Friendly staff (Ann) greeted us, and gave us a book to assist with the self guided tour. All of the displays were well put together, organized....and I loved trying to guess what some of the old tools were used for.

First off, the price is great . . . it's free! They appreciate donations, though. This is a two story building with exhibits on both floors. I did notice there was an elevator so it's fully accessible. When we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted and handed a notebook that had descriptions of all the exhibits. To me, the book... More

We dropped into this free museum today and found a treat. A quick have a look turned into an hour and one half. Very friendly staff with some wonderful exhibits of pioneer Oregon. Worth the time to see their collections. Check out the huge Japanese glass fishing floats. See the upstairs too, this place is big.

This is a small, free county museum on Route 101, on the south end of Lincoln City, Oregon. It is surprisingly good! It has good displays and personal stories about the life and times of early settlers and residents of the area. Check it out. It's one of the better things about Lincoln City!

I love a museum, but a free museum is even better! This one is small but jam packed with well thought out exhibits. I liked how when you come in they hand you a folder that explains each exhibit.

My husband and I were just walking around trying to kill time when we came across the museum. We weren't really expecting much, but since it was free admission we decided to check it out. We were handed a booklet when we walked in that had a list and small description of everything in the display cases. We really enjoyed... More
