This is a lovely museum right on highway 101, it is full of local artifacts which are well displayed. Upon entering a friendly docent has you sign in and then you are given a booklet explaining the various displays. Easy to read and very interesting information. A goodie place to spend an hour or two.

Great place wish we would have known about the kids class except for it was on a Monday :( .....maybe you could schedule some on the weekends or even an outside class or something?

Here is a museum that doesn't take itself too seriously. Artifacts from logging and the pioneer past, glass floats and fishing and canning history take up most of the first floor. The second floor is more fun, some auto centered and road centered artifacts, local school histories and other stuff of 20th century Americana. Best is the history and memorabilia... More

Good, little, volunteer run museum about local life. Includes native native items and stories, early settler, and industry stories, and modern environmental issues. Small enough to see all in just an hour or two yet easy to stay longer. Changing exhibits mean youll always see something new.

I have been a history nut since I was a kid. Now my wife gets to go to all the "old places" and museums we pass and is catching on. The North Lincoln County Historical Museum is a "piece of history" that every traveler to Lincoln County needs to experience. The staff is friendly and loves to share local stories.... More

My mom and her husband came for a visit from Arizona . Money is tight so finding expensive activities can be difficult. We stopped in and did the walking tour and learned about a lot of local history. I do live here but I did not grow up here so it was neat learning about our town. My husband was... More

Friendly staff (Ann) greeted us, and gave us a book to assist with the self guided tour. All of the displays were well put together, organized....and I loved trying to guess what some of the old tools were used for.
