The information about the museum reviewed by the staff was extremely helpful. It was fun to spend a few minutes learning about the history of the area and the museum itself.

Really interesting to learn about the history of the local area, definitely a good way to spend an hour or two. If you're visiting the Taft district be sure to call in, great area for children upstairs too!

I like small, local museums, but this was kind of a let down. Interesting, and it had a small play area for kids (which got them out of the heat for a few minutes and kept them occupied), but only minimally interesting to adults.

I've always enjoyed small, local museums and this is a good one. It's on the 101 going through Lincoln City in the Taft District. There's no entrance fee, but they would certainly welcome your donation. It celebrates the local people and history, including the Siletz Indian tribes, pioneers and the logging industry. I also enjoyed the exhibit of Japanese fishing... More

This is a must do! Check out the "Red Head" info on the 2nd floor! They add temp displays that are fun and historic. I go here ever trip.

This is a smaller museum, but still had some interesting displays. They only ask for a donation. Downstairs is small gift area and old time logging equipment, a few cases of old time dolls, and other vintage stuff. A nice little area of floats found on the beach. Upstairs is fun with a 'cabin' (including a bear skin on the... More

Congratulations on producing a small, but excellent museum representing Lincoln County. We spent an hour downstairs and upstairs, but could have stayed longer. There's even an area for those who remember the Pixie Kitchen and I loved sitting on the stuffed chair watching the loop video of old Lincoln City photos. You'll discover a small room for kids...a giant kaleidoscope... More

This is a really cool museum that shows tons of history of the area around Lincoln City in pictures and artifacts. It is well worth the stop and sure to keep the family entertained for a couple of hours.

What a great way to spend an hour or two with the family. Lots to explore, adults and kids. Super easy to find. We walked over after lunch at Moe's.
