There is no charge to visit the museum, and they have a well curated collection with interesting stories about the history of the area and the white settlers who came there in the 1800s and early 1900s. It's worth an hour or so if you have a couple or more days in town.

With so much to do in Lincoln City, this small but well-curated museum can be overlooked. It's a shame to miss it. Lots of local lore, great photos and interviews - upstairs is a real treat! Pixie Kitchen, anyone??! The staff is delightful and eager to share their love of Lincoln City...we had a great time!

Nice and clean. Like to see the old pictures of Lincoln city and how it was. The people and the pictures were done very well and the story about them was interesting. I walked away feeling glad that I took my time and went there.

Fun little place to see and take your time and look around. The town is cute and quaint so this is lovely to see all the nice Beach Type items that are very unusual.

This place is wonderful for the background and overview of the five original communities that now comprise Lincoln City. Amazingly well done!

I had no idea how amazing this museum is until we finally visited it. A great deal of unusual and unique historical items that will give you visual treat. Its great for families to explore the historical past of Oregon. They also have an elevator for those who cannot go upstairs to see their extensive displays.

I have been to Lincoln City many times, but thought this time, my husband and I would try the Historical Museum. I enjoyed the display on Pixieland and Pixie Kitchen, two of my childhood memories. It was interesting to see how the little towns of Nelscott, Taft, and others came together to become one city. It's free, and if you... More

History for me is interesting. This museum is free. I especially enjoyed the Pixie land and kitchen exhibit, fond childhood memories. Also interesting was the small villages becoming LC. Be sure to get the Wander Through the Past magazine, it was a great read.

Lincoln City is small in comparison and yet they have an awesome museum of local history. Admission is free! I happily donated in the donation box.
