Course is well designed with lots of visual trouble but actually the fairways were fairly wide. Number 9 was lots of fun but be sure and check it out from the back tees. Played a weekday afternoon round and it was like a private course. Worth playing

This wonderful resort and Arnold Palmer designed course has nice fairways, a super driving range, a large practice putting green, and is challenging for all levels. The view is spectacular from several holes including the 9th hole. Clubhouse staff were super friendly, caring, and helpful providing great service. If you like golf and are in the area, it's a must... More

The golf course was wonderful, the spa was great, and the overall service of the resort excellent. Our only disappointment is that we just now "discovered" The Running Y!

Beautiful setting and great golf course. The rooms and amenities were nice and the surroundings were great. The service was OK but generally very nice staff. The system kept overcharging me for my stay and play package so be careful and check your charges. Otherwise worth the trip if you want a challenging course in a beautiful and quiet setting.

We came here specifically to relax, and for me, enjoy a round of golf. The course is first class. A high enough slope to score, beautiful scenery amongst the trees and water. I recommend you come and play....I have several times!

Wow, beautiful course! Saw some dear and lots of birds surrounding the course. We played the first nine holes early afternoon midweek. The two of us often felt like the only ones on the course due to only a few players. No problems with bugs this time of year. Loved how well manicured and the overall design. Collared shirts are... Unfortunately the course was undergoing greens mtce and I was allowed to play on the front nine only. Nice course with some variety but not stunning. Well maintained.

Set amongst a large pine forest is one of the best maintained and challenging tracts in Oregon. The greens were smooth and very fast, at least 11 on the Stimp. The fairways were mowed nice and smooth so that a good drive got that extra roll. Add to the fact that you are playing at over 4000 feet elevation and... More

If you like mountain courses you will love the Running Y. The views are many and the course is in excellent shape. It will test your game but you will be able to score well if you hit it down the middle. No forgiveness when you miss the fare way. Maybe the best course in the Klamath Basin and Rouge... More

But make sure you bring your bug spray. Lots of standing water. The hotel staff tried to downplay it, but it was a pretty significant problem. We got eaten alive. My boyfriend played another 18 with Deep Woods Off and had no issues.
