Trolly on

A nice way to take in the old west architecture and learn a bit about the town. Kids liked being on the trolly.

We don't usually do hokey types of things in towns but I had read good reviews on this tour and it didn't disappoint. The trolley leaves on the hour between 11 and 3 and goes for around 30-40 minutes for $5. It was well worth it. The driver was both informative and funny with lots of information about the town... For five $ each, we took the tour and were surprised by the wealth of information offered by the guide. Lots of interesting facts about the history of the town and its pioneers. Worth the time for sure.

For a fun and informative tour of historic Jacksonville, take this unique form of transportation! This was a fun part of our day. Our family noted on our "full" trolley, we had riders of all ages. It was fun to sit and hear of the town's history from the local guides. From business buildings on main street, to family homes;... More

I recommend everyone GO take this trolley ride!! You are taken back with some AMAZING history of this cute, little town! This ride is cheap enough, $5 and runs 11-3 on the hour! Make sure to tip your guide, even though he doesn't broadcast it...they deserve it!!!

Nice little town in the banana belt of Southern Oregon. The staff in the park was very helpful in explaining where to go and what to see. We enjoyed our stay there and especially the Trolley Tour.

The trolly driver also gives the tour. He gives an amazing amount of information. It is fun, and you are kept out of the weather. I have been on this three times. This does not cost very much. They are friendly and show you a lot of sites and give you a lot of history of Jacksonville. It is well... More

This was so much fun, mostly because of our tour guide. Such a great sense of humor and so patient with a trolley full of yakking women. And I do mean full. We were packed in. Hint: take an outward facing seat close to the driver. It make the trip so personable. Jacksonville is a delightful town with a delightful... More

Relatives told us about the trolley tour and the city of Jacksonville. We were not expecting too much because Jacksonville is really in the middle of 'nowhere' - but we had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the beautiful day and the sightseeing tour. The tour starts every hour on the hour from 11 am through the day and lasted... More

We wave to the visitors riding this trolley almost every day. In the weeks surrounding Christmas you can bundle up and enjoy the same tour in a horse-drawn trolley. Super cool, and if the price hasn't changed, it's only five bucks. The drivers are members of the Historical Society and well-versed in the town's history, some even being descended from... More
