It was a wonderful attraction which was located on private property. The owners live there, now quietly. Thank you for the many years of sharing with the local community.

This attraction has closed. We did visit in2009. Was a great , the kids really enjoyed. It was like a big green house. Lots of butterflies, birds and beatiful plants. Too bad they are closed now

We live within 6 miles of Wings of Wonder and kept meaning to stop in - missed them twice by going at just the wrong season. To my knowledge, they have now closed their business, so bring a canoe and float down to Independence from Buena Vista - it'll take 3-5 hours, depending on how much paddling you do. Watch... More

This was a treasure. It closed in June of 2012. Unfortunately for those who missed out. We would have gone more often and told friends Had we known about it before we did. It was an awesome find on my birthday last year!

This was our first time to visit Wings of Wonder. The man who took us through explained the difference between butterflies and moths to us. The splendor of all the colors was just beautiful as you walk through the homes of these flying beauties. It was not uncommon for them to land on our hands or arms. My grand children... More

It was a really nice place to visit, though a bit overpriced. I hope that there will be other people that love butterflies enough to create places to visit like this one in the future.

The kids are amazed by the number of butterflies. The numerous types of butterflies a holds the interest of even young children. It is located in Buena Vista, 1 block from the river. The drive from Albany/Corvallis or Salem/Independence is pleasant as well.

We enjoyed our trip to Wings of Wonder. There were a very good amount and variety of butterflies. Most were from Central and South America, so learning the butterflies here doesn't translate to any identification in the area. They could have done more as far as the education regarding assisting folks within the butterfly room, for identification, talking about feeding,... More

What an experience! to see so many flying wonders, and the people are so knowledgeable and helpful! I'd suggest wearing layers, the conservatory is kept warm!!
