What a great experience!!! Volcanoes and wines.....my thing! Will never find such an amazing view for wine tasting. It exceeded my expectations. Great wine by the way!!!! A must do when visiting the Columbia River region.

Attended a 20 drum steel band concert (Tri-City high school students). Not only was this band amazing (think Classical, Beatles, Pop tunes, etc) but the weather, wine, BBQ, views were all outstanding. We bought a bottle and sat outside to enjoy it all. Recommend you stop here on way to or from Mt. Hood via Hood River.

We enjoyed our stop at Mt Hood Winery. We did take 1 bottle home, but what I liked best was the beautiful flowers & landscaping outside with great views of Mt. Hood. This was a great place to check out.

We stopped at this one because of the name and picked up a bottle of port for our family get together later in the week. We paid $5 per person for tasting, but one of the taste fees were put towards our bottle of port. They let nature water their vines! We tasted the same wine from 2007 & 2008... More

I agree with the previous review. The wines were mediocre at best as was the staff. Brad was completely dismissive of our questions, claiming to not have time. He actually said that. So that was my cue to leave shortly thereafter happily empty handed.

I'm so sorry you had an unpleasant experience here in our tasting room. I will certainly address this at our staff meeting, which will include a reminder that our customers are most important to us under any circumstances and our number one priority. I would hope you'd stop by in the near future and give us a second chance. Sincerely,... More

But...staff was rude. There, I said it. Brad needs a course in customer service. Other staff indifferent. Wine average to poor quality. I don't care how nice your tasting room is. You clearly put all your money into your building and nothing into training your staff in how simply being nice and friendly is so important.

I'm sorry to hear you had a less than positive experience while visiting Mt. Hood Winery. The staff understands customer service should always be our number one priority. I will certainly address this with everyone as a reminder. Sincerely, Linda Barber General Manager More

Wow what an amazing place to visit just a few miles south of Hood River city. Warm , friendly service and excellent wines to sample. The views from inside the winery as well as on the patio are unbelievable. A fully enjoyable experience. On the way from The Gorge to Mt. Hood, great stop over location.

This is in a relatively new building with an amazing view of Mount Hood. There was lots of indoor and outdoor seating space. It did not feel cramped like many wine tasting rooms can. The wine was good and they had a good variety. The service was friendly. The appetizer plate they offer is not great (or vegetarian friendly), but... More

The building itself is worth a visit, attractive grounds and outdoor seating next to the vineyard. Excellent tasting room, good service and a nice place to get a glass for outside. Relaxed, friendly people, no pressure. One of the best tastings we've tried in the area.
