Elinore quickly made calls and Kevin and Laurel came to the shop so we could blow glass. The entire staff, Laurel, Elinore, Kevin and Ian were GREAT! We enjoyed talking with them and seeing their beautiful work! Laurel Marie Hagner and Kevin are very talented glass blowers! We told Kevin that we wanted to do as much ourselves as possible,... More

We stopped at Glassometry as part of our tour on the fruit loop. The glass wear they had was beautiful, and unique (especially compared to all the glass places in Lincoln City I had been too) and we really wanted to blow our own glass here. I loved the apples and the Christmas ornaments. At the time we were there,... More

One of the glass makers was kind enough to let us into the shop even though technically they weren't open on a Monday. The showroom is small but offers a good selection of the kind of work they do. Don't miss the beautiful glass garden sculptures and the view of Mt Adams from the parking lot

I found the Glassometry brochure at the B&B where my husband and I were staying to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The forecast was calling for rain so we thought an indoor activity like glass blowing would be fun. Ian made our reservation and was super friendly (in fact, he was the nicest person we met in Hood River where... More

Visited Glassometry as part of a Memorial Day weekend drive to Hood, Or. Met the owner/artist (Laurel Marie Hagner) and some of her staff. Had a very informative and pleasant visit. Laurel is an extraordinary artist and gave me reminders of the work of Dale Chihuly. Purchased some beautiful glass vases at a very, very reasonable price and arranged to... More

Beautiful glass work fir sale. Great fun to watch glass blowing. My daughter made me an ornament which was engraved with the date. The ornament has to be slooowly cooled, so you have to come back for it or have it shipped.

We enjoyed our trip out here to design and make our own ornament. The employees were nice, helpful and careful about safety since we had kids with us.

I drove over from Portland to check out the studio. I had been looking forward to having a day to do this for quite awhile. When I got there, I discovered the place was closed, but one of the staff members was there and let me in to see the glass. They were replacing the ceramic bowl in the gathering... More
