What a great way to de-stress and re-connect with nature only a few hours from home. We have rafted with Northwest Rafting Co in Bhutan and with the sister company Echo on the Middle Fork of the Salmon. We had such positive experiences on these two trips, we decided to run the Rogue with them too. They didn't disappoint! From... More

What a great time!! I did this trip with my dad, mom, and 2 siblings 33 years ago and have been waiting for my nephews to be old enough to go. This was the year and the trip was as fantastic as I remembered. The best part is that my nephews (7, 8, 15 & 17) thought so too and... More

After rafting with friends for a year, I took the plunge and bought my own cataraft. I was a complete beginner to rowing my own raft. I wanted to accelerate my learning curve so I could go on more trips with my friends. Luckily, I found Northwest Rafting Company. I did a couple of days private instruction and then the... More

I've been whitewater canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and rafting for 30 years and was looking for formal instruction for rowing a big raft for personal / family trips. The guides were extremely knowledgable and fun AND catered to us like everyday passengers that have never rafted before. It was an intense week of training and I learned way more than I... More

I have been dreaming of traveling to Bhutan for years, but this exceeded my already high expectations. The country is beautiful (Himalayas!!) and the culture is fascinating. Unlike many places, western influence hasn't overtaken Bhutan. Throw in a few fantastic river paddles and it's my idea of a perfect trip. It's a very well-run trip—the logistics went smoothly, Zach and... More

No Accolades can describe the ultimate journey of a lifetime , a journey that exceeded my expectations. This is not a stereotypical rafting trip, but a cultural journey that immerses one into Bhutan’s culture. Days of rafting are integrated into visiting the spectacular Dzongs (monastery/fortress), Stupas, which include moderate hiking. One does not need to have rafting skills as the... More

Being my first trip on the Rogue, I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of not only the scenery, but our guides as well. My three night, four day excursion was a wonderful mix of white knuckle rapids, and peaceful down time. The guides stressed safety, and exhibited it well while holding on to that sense of adventure. I... More

My daughter (9yrs) and I took a 4 day rafting trip with Northwest Rafting Company in August. I feel guilty that I have not written this review before now because we had such a wonderful time. The guides (led by Nate) were cheerful, positive and helpful and made us feel very safe on the water. Northwest clearly hires guides who... More

I've gone down the Rouge River 3 times in the last 4 years with Northwest Rafting Co. The guides are amazing. Always fun while making safety a priority. All abilities are welcome and will have an experience of a lifetime. The food was amazing plus beer and mead (Brews with Views trip). I could not think of anything missing. Will... More

Once again we had a fantastic 5 day river trip, well-fed, safe, and fun, with Northwest rafting (and Sundance kayak for those of us wanting kayak instruction). The guides are a delight and the river itself is spectacular. We got in hikes, saw bear and bald eagle, had a blast bombing through the rapids. JR, Laurie, Charlie, Kitty, Tobias were... More
