Although it is a small lavender field it was very beautiful and relaxing. You can cut your own fresh lavender for about $5 a bunch. Owner was lovely and joyful. Nice side trip off the main road. Great natural views and even a spot to sit and just enjoy the fields for a bit.

Stopped in here while driving down the "fruit loop"! So glad we did! The lavender is in full bloom, the aroma is absolutely intoxicating! The employees were charming and helpful, and our car still smells amazing from the "bunch" we cut ourselves! We spent well over a hour here just smelling, running through their sprinkler, and taking pictures posing with... More

Thank you to the guy who warned about the photography nazi who stopped him from taking a picture claiming there was a "photo fee". Great information to have... will bring a zoom lens and take a picture from across the street if we even bother to go there (probably won't). Again, thanks for the heads up!!

Carol, the photo fee is ONLY for professional photographers, or folks that are using photos of our property for their profit. Never for the public, and we encourage folks to take lots of photos and will often offer to take photos of our guests on our farm for them at no charge. Online is thousands of photos of our lavender... More

We were so glad we stopped here when we were in Hood River last week. The lavender was in bloom and smelled wonderful. We sat on the lovely chairs and just enjoyed the amazing smell and atmosphere! It is a small and charmimg place with a very cute gift shop. They offer lavender tea there and sell a nice variety... More

My husband and I spent a delightful, relaxing aromatic hour chatting with the owner overlooking the scenic lavender fields in the Hood River Valley. You can't help but leave relaxed after smelling the lavender for an hour and we shall reminisce about our day when we smell the lavender bouquets and pillow spray we purchased from the shoppe. The owner's... More

Prior to this trip, I had visited lavender farms but never when the lavender was in bloom. When I saw that a lavender farm was included in the loop I was so excited. And even more so when we arrived and saw row upon row of lavender in bloom. Hood River Lavender is a beautiful, tranquil setting that has been... More

Stopped here by mistake. It was a waste of fifteen minutes on an otherwise great afternoon. The lavender crop looked dry and withered. But, as I tried my best to set up a photo shot of their best row with Mt. Hood in the background, I was "informed" by a lavender nazi there was a "photo fee." Photons are free... More

We are so sorry you had a negative experience at our farm. We ONLY charge a photo fee of $35.00 for professional photographers, or if folks are posting the photos to site that they will make a profit on ( like photoshelter, etc). We just ask to be included if $ are to be made on the photos of the... More

This place is a gem! The decade old plants were just waking up from winter when we visited. We bought starter plants and they traveled on our carry on home to IL. They are growing strong! The essential oil is decadent and you will find other spa like treats for purchase. The owner was friendly and really know her lavender.... More

This is not the kind of place I normally visit. I am so glad I came across this lavender farm and was open-minded enough to take time and enjoy it. In the middle of the field stands a small picturesque shack. Inside, you can enjoy free lavender tea and browse their lavender products. A jar of their lavender cream I... More

Had a really good time at the festival. The food was great and the smell of the lavender was great. I would recommend this place to my friends.
