Wonderful time, the falls were awesome. Great Guides, small easy to paddle boats. We we able to surf some nice stuff, Stand up with the boat swaying away... Small rapid river worth the trip.. Have rafted a decent number of times, on a small fast river is always better.

What a thrill. We have rafted this river several times and will go again. It keeps things moving and the scenery is great. At the end is a 12ft waterfall don't pass this up , yes you get wet but it's a thrill

The White Salmon River has carved out a gorgeous valley from its source on Mt. Adams its mouth at the Columbia. The best way to see it is probably a rafting trip--much of the bank is too steep for walking access and a lot of the area along the river is private property. You can drive through the valley, though... More

Stopped by here to see the changes the dam removal has made and check out where my husband has white water rafted. It's beautiful here. Having the dam gone has really changed the river front properties. Not many people here today. Still very beautiful.

Great class 3-4 rapids in a beautiful setting. Wouldn't take kids younger than 10, as the current is strong and the water quite cold.

Zolander rafting. Exciting, fun and safety oriented. I was afraid to try rafting, but they made me feel secure. Our guide was so knowledgable about the river and the changing conditions over the last 20 years. I had a great time and will go rafting again.

The White Salmon River rafting is fantastic. Go early when flows are large and the water is cold. I mean COLD (38F). There are some slack courses, but overall it's a great run. The 9' drop over the fall is absolutely worth the trip. The meal the rafting company provided, was super (for the side of a river). Pictures were... More

The White Salmon River is one of just a few nationally designated wild & scenic rivers, in Washington State . Most people come for the river rafting. There are several guide services available, book ahead for prime summer weekends !

Beautiful and quiet. There weren't many people around and the grandkids loved it. It felt really safe. Bathrooms were outhouses....you have to have some pain with all that beauty. Roads are well maintained.

Washington side of the Columbia River. Glorious day beautiful river and remarkable evidence of a huge ancient lava bed, stretching as far north as Goose Lake .
