We were driving through and noticed their sign. We didn't have much time but thought we would stop and check out a Oregon winery. It exceeded our expectations. I'm the type of person who likes wine but couldn't tell you what I like or why. The tasting selection was expansive and the staff was so helpful in explaining the flavors... More

What do you want when you do a wine tasting? A friendly, personable staff. A warm atmosphere. A good selection of wines. You get all of these at Cathedral Ridge. My wife is the wine taster. She was happy. Nothing more needs saying.

Cathedral Ridge is located on a beautiful, scenic farm-like area. You can bring wine/snacks outside in the natural landscaped garden or taste inside at the lengthy bar. There's a separate room for members, too. They have MANY wine types - definitely something for everyone. For $99, there's two different packs of 4 bottles of wine - their good stuff! Great... More

The winery has quite a group of pouring expernicias. The winery has a view across the Columbia River where there is their Washington Vineyard. The special for the month brings the 4 pack of bottles to a very attractive price for the pack. The wine tasting is dropped if 2 bottles are purchased. What a deal!

A great winery - easy to get to from Hood River, and situated in a beautiful countryside. But mostly the woman pouring the flights of wine was helpful, friendly, attentive. This is not always the case in wine tasting rooms. Of course, the wines were excellent - a very good place to learn about the wines of that region.

This was a good deal-generous tastings, lots to choose from for tasting, friendly staff. Their requirement to buy for the tasting to be comped also compared favorably to other wineries in the region. Left with four bottles for myself and as gifts. A very pretty stop right off the highway if you're heading to hood river! Because we were there... More

Comfortable tasting room with beautiful view and setting. Easy to get to from the highway. I enjoyed several wines and joined their wine club to get some more. Shared the 2010 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon this weekend with friends and I'm looking forward to more of their wines.

We can't begin to tell you how wonderful our experience was at the Cathedral Ridge Winery. First off, all of the staff was awesome. We we fortunate to get Jocelyn as our server/hostess during our visit. This girl was not only personable, attentive, but also very knowledgable about the type of wines and the wine making process. There was my... More

This winery was situated in a lovely setting. Tasting room was very cute, and the grounds were adorned with beautiful flowers and lush green lawn. The nearby vineyard with grape vines added to the ambiance. There were tables and benches for guests to sit and enjoy their wines. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. For the $10... More

The grounds and gardens are lovely, with colorful flowers everywhere. We walked around a while and identified as many as we could. There is enough space available to host a decent-sized outdoor event, and there are several sturdy picnic tables. Their wines are spendy and Cathedral Ridge doesn't waive the $10 tasting fee (to try six wines) if you make... More
