Home of the first certified organic vineyard and winery in Hood River. Sample our award winning wines served from an antique turn-of-the-century backbar, relax next to our cozy fireplace, or enjoy a picnic and a glass of estate wine on our terrace overlooking the ever-evolving landscape in the shadow of Mount Hood. We also offer Antipasto platters, local micro brews on tap (for those non wine drinkers)and tours if you schedule them ahead of time. We stopped here on our most recent trip to Hood River. The first thing we noticed was the cute front porch with several lounge chairs to kick back and relax while you taste. They are dog lovers and let you bring your dog into the tasting room - which we loved. The staff is friendly and polite, there are appetizer... More

Pheasant Valley Winery has a lovely tasting room and thirteen wines on the menu. We decided to split a tasting and share from one glass. My favourite was the deep red Barbera, yet the River City Red blend was lovely, as were some of the whites. The server was a gem, keeping us educated and entertained on the wines and... More

This is a wonderful winery with a charming setting overlooking Mt. Hood. They are dog friendly which I love and have good appetizers for you to enjoy. They have 15 different bottles of great wine to taste or you can drink a tap beer if that isn't your thing. A great place for an outdoor picnic.

We loved the pear wine, we hated the fruit flies but that just goes with the harvest season. The lady at the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and found it to be the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, charming, romantic little getaway. Gail was a very pleasant hostess, along with her husband and visiting friends. She cooked us wonderful breakfasts, told us where we could find a tennis court to play on in the middle of... More

Visited the winery this week and my two favorite were the Pinot Gris 2010 (1St fav) and Pinot Gris 2012. Notification received today that 4 bottles were shipping to my home! Can't wait!

I love what Pheasant Valley is trying to do, but I'm not a big fan of their wine. Of course, I'm not a big fan of any organic wine. However, the tasting room is lovely, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We will go back, but will not likely purchase wine. Will just go back for the atmosphere and a... More

Love this Winery. Excellent Pear Wine, Chardonney, etc. The winery is lovely with a huge old fashioned bar-like area, fireplace and all the trappings. Lots of room for wondering but the WINE IS OUR FAVORITE!!!

What fun! We chose the self-guided tour through Pheasant Valley Vineyards. You get a small booklet, and you use it to guide yourself through the markers in the vienyard. We saw the vines, hiked out to the overlook, and learned about how fruit in the field turns into liquid poetry in your glass. After our hike, we got to return... More

This is a nice stop on the way to Mt. Hood. The tasting fee is reasonable ($5 for six tastes and refunded if you buy wine) Also you can buy a glass of wine and sit outside and enjoy the view. Very nice people here, too.
