Description: Dick Troon planted this vineyard, one of the first in the Applegate...
Dick Troon planted this vineyard, one of the first in the Applegate Valley, in 1972. Forty years later, with the guidance of the Martin family, this stunning estate has grown to 100 acres with over 40 acres of grapes planted. Our commitment to sustainability (LIVE certified) combined with our relentless drive to improve our vines and wines, has propelled us as a leading producer in Oregon. Known for our signature Zinfandels and unique blends, we are also pioneering varietals such as Vermentino and Tannat.Located in the viticultural heart of the Applegate Valley, the winery and vineyard are set beautiful estate with panoramic views, providing a stunning backdrop for tasting our wines. Come experience our knowledgeable and friendly staff, picnic area and bocce ball courts.

We've come here probably 4-5 times over the past 8 years and would not want to miss it. The wines, names and all, are superb. The Druids Fluids are terrific and well named. We have eaten here on every other visit but this time they were getting ready for a special event and not serving. But I will add that... More

I am rating this on the wine. If you're looking for good wine. This isn't the place. After sampling four wines and dumping them all out, we decided to depart. We were charged $10 each for that, even though we didn't finish tasting all the wines. If the last two wines were the "good" ones then they should have started... More

Visited Troon Vineyards as we explored Applegate Valley wine country. Enjoyed wine tasting so much we joined their wine club. We have been back several times since for wine, food and music events. Nice tasting room and tree grove to sit and take in the sites while enjoying their wonderful wines.

Halloween!!! We had so much fun with the candy and wine pairing. OK, not conventional, but a cute tribute to the day. We're candy lovers, the wine stole the show! Couldn't resist the Druid's Fluid and their Chardonnay. All full of flavor, tasty and not too sweet. The view out the giant window while you're tasting is beautiful, hills, vineyards... More

Great stop not only for a tasting, but also the beauty of the place. Walk around and enjoy! Try the troop fluid, that was my favorite one. They have a nice cheese tray too.

We visited Troon on a Friday with Wine Hopper Tours. It was fantastic! Tiffany was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. She really knew her wines! She was very personable as well. We purchased wine which she was personally shipping to us as we live across the country from them! Had a blast, great winery tour, great wine, and great... More

Excellent wine!! We tasted a large variety of wine and they were all super! We purchased multiple bottles of the Vermentino, which was my favorite of the bunch. Another favorite of mine was the Druids fluid red. The wine is reasonably priced. I wished they shipped to MA! Troon is absolutely beautiful and the staff is so nice! I highly... More
