Went with a friend who frequents this casino and hotel. The grounds are beautiful, free parking. There were places to eat for every type of craving. Staff very friendly. Nice and interesting gift shop. Our room was a suite and absolutely beautiful (the bathrooms were a woman's dream!), bed was very comfortable, clean and quiet, there was coffee & tea... More

Very disappointed in his performance. He was working hard, lots of sweat, but the ensemble lacked heart, coordination, and common sense. Most of the songs, Michael was improvising, and singing lead. However when he would wander, no one would sing the words. It was strange. The backup should have carried the melody, if she was it could not be heard.... More

I'm an occasional visitor to the Portland area and this was my first time to Spirit Mountain. However I've gone to Vegas, Reno, and many many local casinos over the years throughout the country. First if you want "Vegas-style" gaming you have to go to Vegas, there just is no substitute. Comparing any local casino to Vegas is an apples... More

I dislike casinos, but my 93 year old aunt loves them, so we decided to take her to Sporit Mountain during our visit. We dropped the aunt off in. The "nonsmoking" section of the casino - and found that the smoke smell, while still noticeable, was somewhat diminished. The casino is connected to a lodge and conference center - and... More

I have been going to casinos, almost exclusively in Nevada, for about 40 years. I would compare the Spirit Mountain Casino to the type I've known in West Wendover, Nevada. The casino has typical gaming machines one would find in a small casino, but none of the large payout types one would find in the major casinos in Reno and... More

We've been going to the casino every few months, occasionally staying at the lodge, for years. Over those years we've noticed a sharp decline in the number of people winning at the slots, us included. In conversations with complete strangers I have spoken to there, they've commented about how 'tight' the slots are. During our last trip there I didn't... More

Been going here since they opened. Have never been disappointed! Rooms, restaurants, buffet...all AWESOME! Hosts are the best! Lisa, Rebecca, Soch, and Ruby....they all ROCK! I have a host when i go to Las Vegas and these folks give much better service and attention! Always willing to go the extra mile and always with a smile. I have only been... More

The food in the buffet was basically crud. I don't have much to say about this place, it's a yawner. The non-smoking section is ridiculously small. In this area, it's a nice place.

Stayed a night at the lodge as part of a birthday celebration. We have experienced both the Spirit Mountain casino and the Chinook Winds. Spirit Mountain is by far a better casino. I would also like to note that many reviewers commented on the walk between the lodge and the casino. It's the shortest walk imaginable. The two buildings are... More

What is it with these casinos that aren't located in Vegas or Reno, NV?! I have lived both places. I read some of the other reviews & they mostly are from one time visitors. Here's one from someone who likes to go to a casino & lives in the area & is STUCK with this one. The one in Lincoln... More
