Gold Beach Books is located right in the middle of one of Oregon's most dramatic oceanfront cities. It's totally worth a stop for their excellent coffee and pastries while you read a newspaper or check your email. This large two level bookstore is also an art gallery and it has a meet the author room if you coordinate your visit... More

This large,well-organized two-story bookstore is a real treasure trove for local residents as well as for travelers passing through Gold Beach. Most are inexpensive used books, but new books are near the front. Local artists display their art here, too. Stop for books and get coffee too (or vice versa)! A cozy corner houses Biscuit Coffee House, offering fresh pastries, coffee,... More

On the way up the coast, I stumbled into Gold Beach Bookc. What a delightful break on a long drive. The two story building is warm and inviting. There is a coffee shop and little comfortable chairs and tables to tuck into and read. The books- used and new- all shelved together. The gals working were helpful with suggestions on... More

I entered Gold Coast Books on a rainy cold coastal day and found my life immediately brightened by this wonderful place! It's wonderful to find an actual bookstore (not too many around these days) to browse through on a rainy day. They have a good selection of books, used and new; I found many terrific souvenirs of my time on... More

This book store has books galore - 2 floors of them. If they don't have what you want, Carolyn or other staff will order for you - no shipping if you pick it up there and it will arrive in just a few days. It is a great atmosphere. Get a great latte' or ?? and just relax or "put... More

This is a wonderful, surprisingly large bookstore and coffee shop, lovingly designed, and well organized. Like Powell's in Portland, used and new books are shelved together, and they are for every interest.

My husband could have stayed in this bookstore for hours and hours. There was a great selection of used books and a special room upstairs with rare & valuable books. Rachel's Coffee inside the bookstore had friendly service and great coffee. It was a lovely place to sit and relax! Stop by, if you're passing through town!

Bright, open, modern, clean, wonderful selection of new and used books. Felt like walking into the old Holmes Books in Oakland except for the lack of dusty dimness. How do they keep this vanishing breed alive? Friendly knowledgeable help. Now a part of our annual migration.

Day 1 stopped by for a shot of espresso, found it perfect! Wandered in the extensive local book section and found a few gems to read during our stay. Went back on another day to explore the upstairs, unbelievable collection of rare and autographed items. We're talking collects les here, in Gold Beach, who'd have thought that? Unexpected gem!
