Had a good time sandboarding. Price was right. You get the board for 24 hours but I don't tihnk I'd really need it for more than a few hours. But what a fun few hours it was. I recommend giving this a try if you are on vacation and want to try new things. You'll have fun, and its cheap!

Snadboarding was definitely not something we had tried before. Our group took lessons through Sand Master Park. We all had a great time. The instructor was helpful, upbeat and very nice. The kids and adults all felt confident working with him. Sand Master has a place to use the boards right behind the rental shop. They give you plenty of... More

Right off the highway, rental price is reasonable and good for 24hrs. It is not as easy as it looks but addictive. The woman who helped us seemed cranky and not overly pleasant to deal with but the experience was worth it.

I'd never tried any board sports before, but figured I'd give sandboarding a shot while visiting the Oregon dunes. Gabe was an excellent instructor and very generous with his time. After the lesson, they let me take the sandboard to other dunes in the area. I highly recommend this activity over the dune buggies, even if you're not athletic. It's... More

Rented sand boards and tried them in the park which is a short drive behind the store. Great place to start and get used to sand boarding. Then went to the sand dune park, one of the best adventures on our 11 day trip. We also got to watch the dune buggies race around the dunes also.

We rented a board from here and headed into their dunes. We decided to forgo the lessons. The person renting us the board gave us enough pointers we made out just fine. Boarding in the dunes is a blast. They also allow the board to leave the property and your rental is for 24 hrs. The only downside was that... More

My 12 year old daughter and I were first timers to sandboarding (and, as we discovered, they have sand sleds too!) and chose Sand Master Park to rent from. Very glad we did. The staff was super friendly, their prices are so incredibly reasonable, AND they have their own dunes. We ended up going to Jessie M Honeyman park so... More

We rented sandboards from Sand Master's in early July. They are a pioneering outfit with great equipment. They were really helpful in getting us set up with gear. We tried it out on their dunes and then headed to the dunes at Harriman state park. It was a blast! I wish we had somewhere near home to do this!
