I don't play golf, but when I am in Florence on a Thursday night, I always go to dinner at their lodge and they have Karaoke. The food is outstanding and the singers are awesome. Nancy the owner is a great singer and performer. So much fun for sure!.

Great track and very friendly staff. You can not beat the golf anywhere on the coast including Bandon Dunes. Everyone was helpful and courteous. The carts were great and the course was in fantastic shape. You can play there any time of year as the sand dunes it is built on drains immediately. The only time it is not fun... More

Be sure make Sandpines one of your golf stops if you're on the Oregon Coast. The amenities are top notch with reasonable rates. The town of Florence has a lot to off too with a local casino, many hotels with one on the beach and a great downtown on the river with shopping and restaurants.

Sandpines is always our go to place to golf. We have been known to drive there in the early morning (over 100 miles) golf, then drive home.

Something has happened? This used to be one of my must golfing destinations. They are now getting weird. I had a golfnow tee time price (hadn't booked yet). I called and tried to ask them if THEY could save some $ by just booking my proposed tee times themselves and skip golfnow price and they said they couldn't???? Bear in... More

I always enjoy Sandpines. The course is well laid out and the clubhouse has great amenities. Very conveniently located and the staff is always welcoming.

Nice course but was surprised with how wet it was being on top of that much sand. Apart from the few boggy parts I was early enough to avoid any delays with crowds, the sun was out and there was no wind. I can see this being my regular course if I was a local.

Remote location, but a beautiful, well-maintained course in a great setting. Front nine has some water and a few bunkers; back nine is a links-type setup. Plenty of room for errant shots, however, unless you hook or slice badly, and rough can be troublesome in places. Nice bar and outdoor seating at the end of your round. Snack shack between... More

Well maintained course! For a course without ocean views, it was still beautiful. Stunning lake on front nine. Back nine is more of a links course, but more forgiving than other links courses (like Spanish Bay). We played in the afternoon and very few golfers. Restaurant closes early so we ate before playing. Lots of wildlife, even a fox!

I guess rating a course is relevant to what you have played. We played this course while stopping in .florence and found it to be OK but certainly not the 41/2 star that it was rated. I would say more of a 31/2 star. It was a good track but the fairways and greens were spotty. It was an s... More
