Great art work all done by local Florence artists. The artists take turns running the gallery. You can buy beautiful original artworks or prints as well as jewelry, pottery and other items to decorate your home or yourself. The prices are very reasonable and there is no pressure when you walk in to purchase anything. You can shop at your... More

Backstreet Gallery is a co-op of Florence area artists who have successfully operated a gift shop of their creations for more than ten years. The roster of artists grows and changes, but the quality and uniqueness of the offerings holds steady. Pretty much every art or craft you can think of is represented; ceramics, watercolor, drawing, woodturning, photography, fiber arts...and... More

Maybe she still has them out: a big basket of 2 for $1 cards. really unique and funny cards that were being discontinued. It's one of the things I look for while traveling to find a different selection from my usual local Rite Aid or KMart. I like having cards on hand to send out right away when the occasion... More

Any time I am in Florence, OR I got to Old Town and this is a "must place" for me to go. These are all local artists, and I enjoy all the talent that they have. I have purchased some of my favorite jewelry there. I recommend you stop in and check it out.

So much to appreciate; with 25 or more co-op members running this business, it's one of the highlights of this charming town. You think of art galleries as being hoity-toity and too expensive but Backstreet is down-to earth, clerked... More
