My husband and I drove on the 101 up from California on our way to Canada. Just before you get to Heceta Head Lighthouse traveling from South to North there is a view point that you can view the lighthouse and if you look down to the water we saw 20-30 noisy sea lions. Heceta lighthouse has to be experienced to truly render your spirit refreshed. It is stationed on the edge of the Oregon coast but it seems to forge over the edge of the earth.
