This is a nice place to stop for some wine tasting. The pours were generous and there was a good selection to choose from. The tasting room was a bit chilly so plan on that when you leave the car. I like wineries that have a view and outside seating, this is not that place.

We'd planned a trip to wine country in Napa, CA. A day before arrival, the quake happened. Media urged visitors to stay away; electric power was "iffy"; water also; the roads were OK but not everywhere. Passing through the Eugene area during our return to Seattle, we saw a sign for LaVelle Vineyards. Chirping birds, a rustic location and great... More

Wonderful family-owned vineyard. Great parties for members and guests like the Summer Island Party, with food, music and, of course, great wine.

We had chosen a day that a lot of groupon people were out there. It was really busy. We paid5$ for our tasting we got to choose what we drank. We ended up going home with a merlot. Which is out of the norm for us but it was amazing. The others nothing that blew me away but good.

Since vineyards are all in the country and scattered about, you generally have to pick and choose what ones you can make it to on a given day. LaVelle is worth putting on your route. We arrived late in the day, cutting it close to closing, but were given a friendly greeting and were not rushed during our tasting. I... More

We were met at the Vinyard by the sweetest woman who proceeded to our wine tasting. Our appointment was mixed up and the tour had already been there and gone. The owners were so nice, that they have us the tour anyway. They provided a beautiful basket of fruit and cheese to share with our bottle of wine. We were... More

We went to LaVelle Vineyards over the Memorial Weekend, and left very disappointed and not likely to return. We arrived about 20 minutes prior to closing, and expected a somewhat shortened tasting. What we got was a fairly rude greeting for our group of eight, telling us they were closing in less than 20 minutes. We felt rushed and constantly... More

If you are looking for a great pinot I highly recommend visiting this tasting bar at the Market. They also have a yummy meat and cheese platter to snack on. There is also a chocolate and wine pairing tasting, unfortunately we did not get a chance to try it.

for your oenophile friends. The employees are very helpful, and there is a neat assortment of wine related articles.

Whether it is the Friday Night Flights or a special event, LaVelle Vineyards is small enough that it feels like your own backyard but large enough to find a lot to do - wander through the Labyrinth, take a ride on the ATV to the lookout deck, tour the barrel room or enjoy entertainment on the patio. Beautiful place!
