We haven't eat there, we stopped for wine tasting and ended up going away with 5 bottles, but only because that was what we could fit into a suitcase for a flight back to Seattle. Pinot Gri and Pinot Noir were quite good, also quite unexpectedly the 2008 sparkling wine were quite too. We also took a walk around, very... More

I want to preface this review by saying after our disappointing luncheon, I wrote a detailed letter to King Estate, sent copies to the restaurant manager and general manager, and have never heard one solitary word back from them. I am the "Out and About" chair for a group of mostly senior women. I began the process of making a... More

We stopped by King Estate Winery for a tour and lunch on our way to Eugene. They have a beautiful pavilion where they do the wine tasting at and serve lunch. We sat on the patio, with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The food was outstanding. I had a Reuben sandwich which was the best I’ve ever had (and... More

I've been out to King Estate several times this summer and almost everything has been perfect. Full disclosure, my wife did have a poorly overcooked steak. Our waitress noticed, had them prepare another (which was worse) and ended up comping several drinks as an apology. That's literally the only thing that was fabulous in 3 trips in the past month.... Most certainly one of the best places to eat in the Willamette Valley. Incredible food and impeccable top shelf service. Main dining room is grand but eating outside has great views of the vineyard and surrounding forested hills. Totally worth the 25 minute drive from Eugene. Excellent for a couple or large group.

We love taking people here when visiting. The wines are always stellar, but their food is always seasonal and creative. Make the drive out for an absolutely amazing experience.

Has a nice tasting experience followed by a bottle with charcuterie. Beautiful grounds. The meats are all prepared on site and worth trying. The cheese was a mix of local and others.

Sample the wine selections at the copper surfaced bar then pick one. Go out side and stroll the near by gardens and lawns. Look to the one you came all this way out her with. Image you are in some kind of BBC styled show of opulence and privilege. It's easy to do here. On a summer eve, breath the... More

Worth driving to. The best Pinot Noir tasted yet. This after many tastings. Gorgeous views. Beautiful setting but go for the wine. Truly memorable.
