About half an hour southwest of Eugene, King Estates is perched on a hillside overlooking the Lorane Valley. During the spring, summer and fall, reserve an outside table and enjoy food that matches the view. Given the quality, I didn't find the prices extravagant and return regularly with out of town visitors and for special occasions.

Yes, this is a winery worth visiting. Beautiful surrounding vistas; nice selection of wines, and good food. The staff are helpful and cheerful. The prices are a bit too high for the food; but still worth a visit..........noting that there is not much to offer in Eugene.

I've been to this winery twice and both times were great fun. My first visit was for my 35th birthday celebration. It was a wonderful experience, if a little pricey. The second visit was for their great "behind the scenes" tour. My parents were visiting and my dad really enjoyed seeing the guts of the operation. I would recommend :)

I have never been disappointed with a visit to King Estate. Have visited with family, friends and out of town co-workers. Wine, food and a beautiful setting, King Estate is a gem!

Going to France with out leaving Oregon; this is a beautiful site, with tremendous view and excellent food. Great winery tour, and great food, always changing with local availability.

The view is spectacular, the wine delicious and the food extraordinary. If you can get out there on a sunny day - even better. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Reservations are strongly encouraged - you never know when you are going to run into a busy day up there so it's always better to be safe than sorry.... More

It's nice there. The wine are good. Last time I was there to eat I hot the lamb bacon sandwich. It wasn't good at all. The bacon was so crispy it snapped and the sandwich was dry like suck up your saliva dry. It's a good day night place. The your is always fun going into where the barrels are... More

Wine tasting, dining for lunch or dinner on a terrace overlooking the Lorane Valley. Great cheff, very good wines. What's not to love about a burger top with sauted foie and pommes frites sprinkled with truffle oil?

Having been there twice, l'm looking forward to a repeat visit. The setting is stunning, especially on a sunny day. Both visits were for wine tasting and lunch. They didn't "require" reservations for lunch, but the second visit had a long wait for lunch - when I go again I'll be certain to make a reservation, especially if there's a... More

I love going here for brunch, lunch, dinner, wine tasting and special events. I love the views, the setting, the wine club, the staff. I have taken out of town guests to this venue, including guests from South Africa and New Zealand. The prices are just a shade above reasonable, but absolutely worth it. Food is locally sourced and seasonal,... More
