Open Saturdays 10-5 from April-mid November. Each Saturday Lane County's favorite artisans, chefs and musicians bring their creations to Saturday Market, Eugene's weekly open-air Marketplace, creating a vibrant event that nurtures local commerce and community. Founded in May of 1970, Eugene's Saturday Market is Oregon's original Saturday Market, and the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the United States.  Wander among the 200 booths filled with fine handcrafts, always sold by the artisans themselves. Jewelers, potters, seamstresses, candle makers, glass workers and many more bring their arts to sell. The International Food Court features seventeen food booths serving a wide array of foods prepared fresh on site, including burritos, pad thai, pizza and cheesecake. The Market Stage showcases local and regional musicians playing everything from original folk to jazz, Celtic music to rock-and-roll all day long. Lane County Farmers' Market is just across the street each Saturday. Two nearby parking structures provide plenty of free parking, and the area is fully wheelchair accessible.

It's really amazing how fabulous this Saturday Market is. The venders are not only unique in their wares, but the local entertainment, which consists of several different bands throughout the day, and the food makes it an A+ in my opinion. It's located right down town, has free parking all day, including parking structures and lots of grassy areas to... More

It's not as big as the Portland Saturday market but it has it's own flavor. Some junk, but some really cool artists too. I got some beautiful jewelry. Loved the food vendors as well and the fresh, homemade baked goods. Super fun way to spend a Saturday morning and then wander over to the farmer's market across the street.

All handmade local products. They have strict rules about what can be sold it it has to be very hands on crafted. There are some interesting crafts for sure, and you can get an original Eugene tee shirt here silk screened by the artist standing in front of you in most cases. However, it's super dupery hippy dippy and if... More

There are some outstanding craftspeople and outrageously beautiful produce. The flowers are also an excellent deal.

The market is a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday morning. Great people watching, interesting food offerings for any kind of palate and endless stalls with handicrafts - some more interesting than others. All of the vendors are the artists and the atmosphere is lively and fun. A great place to buy unique gifts!

Saturday Market is the consummate Eugene experience. Tie dye, food vendors, little artsy crafty booths and lots of locally grown foods! I agree folks should bring cash as well as a bag or two as you will surely fill them.
