Open Saturdays 10-5 from April-mid November. Each Saturday Lane County's favorite artisans, chefs and musicians bring their creations to Saturday Market, Eugene's weekly open-air Marketplace, creating a vibrant event that nurtures local commerce and community. Founded in May of 1970, Eugene's Saturday Market is Oregon's original Saturday Market, and the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the United States.  Wander among the 200 booths filled with fine handcrafts, always sold by the artisans themselves. Jewelers, potters, seamstresses, candle makers, glass workers and many more bring their arts to sell. The International Food Court features seventeen food booths serving a wide array of foods prepared fresh on site, including burritos, pad thai, pizza and cheesecake. The Market Stage showcases local and regional musicians playing everything from original folk to jazz, Celtic music to rock-and-roll all day long. Lane County Farmers' Market is just across the street each Saturday. Two nearby parking structures provide plenty of free parking, and the area is fully wheelchair accessible.

I really enjoyed this market. I specifically drove down to find some local artist ware to purchase. I found a lot of super cool things but to purchase them were completely inconvenient. I had to get a slip from the vendor and take it to a booth to run my card. After my first purchase I decided that I did... More

I'm so glad you came for a visit! It's true that some artisans use our Info Booth to process transactions, but many of them now use Square or another comparable service and can take payments in their booths. I will suggest to our artisans that they make it obvious for customers whether they take cards in their booths via signage.... More

Saturday Market is a tradition here that is really an institution, part of the fabric of the crazy quilt city. Tie dye everywhere, local produce and local kooky characters are all part of the scene. In warmer weather the live music and food vendors are a big draw.

I love looking at all of the unique handmade items at Saturday Market. There is a lot of talent there at reasonable prices. If you have questions, the maker is the one selling. There is also yummy food.

This is one of the most unique and diverse places I have ever been. Lots of food and Crafts, and the Artists are just amazing. Rarely do you get to meet the folks that make the things you're buying, but they're all right there (The Maker Is The Seller) so you can ask questions about their skills and craft, truly... More

Rain or shine this Market is sure to delight the senses! There is an abundance of one of a kind artisans and all the color and harmless stimulus a person could ask for. Whether showing friends from out of town or just spending a leisure Saturday in the Park blocks it is the place to be on a Saturday.

The Saturday Market here is as unique and diversified as you can get. There is something for everyone. You can spend $5. or $500. or more, depending on what you want. Great for souveniers if you are from out of town. The quality is excellent and vendors want you to be happy with your purchase. The atmosphere is fun and... More

Ten yrs ago, when I first went to the Eugene Saturday Mkt, I was amazed at the amount of excellent arts and crafts there were along with great food booths and diverse music. When I attended last year, it was still as great as ever; covering two city blocks, it supports a vast array of different artists, from painters to... More

First of all I never understood why Eugenes Saturday market was only on Saturday and not on Sunday too like in Portland. Secondly, over the years it has almost not changed. It's basically the same people so on the same things it was sold for the same inflated prices. Aside from that, the food court was not very impressive and... More

Food that is amazingly fresh and reasonably priced. If you can't find something interesting to buy it probably has not been made yet.
