Oakshire Brewing has the "public house" concept down perfectly. The beer selection they provide is fantastic. I believe the Oakshire Watershed IPA is one of the best IPA's made. You can always find an incredible selection of specialty beers available as well. Oakshire is known for making some very nice barleywines and I certainly suggest trying one if it's available.... Now here is a worthy rival to Ninkasi. I remember visiting Oakshire when it was located on the outskirts of town. But now they have a spot just several blocks from Ninkasi, making a great brewery crawl possible. Oakshire still doesn't have that definitive beer which makes you think of them. But they are trying, and for the most part... More

Let me open by saying I mourn the old location at times, sunny days by the tracks... start up vibe. Good times. Having said that, the tasting room is pretty much exactly what I want out of a local brewery. Simple. They have the atmosphere right. I think one TV, "unplugged" music, smaller space, great seating. some outdoor space. The... More

Visited Oakshire Brewing while on a business trip to Oregon. Good selection of beers to try, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a real down-to-earth atmosphere. Would definitely return and hang out with the local folks and try some more of the flavors.

Stopped by Oakshire on February 15, 2014. Our goal was to enjoy the Hellshire Brewfestival which was taking place on the premises and featured beers that were barrel aged. We also wanted to try the Oakshire beers which we've had on tap at other venues. Oakshire offers a delicious Watershed IPA which I enjoyed and the hubby had their Dark... More

Oakshire has a wide variety of regular and seasonal beers, all brewed on site or nearby. A good variety for all tastes. They have an innovative food cart arrangement where a set rotation of mobile vendors park outside and you can eat inside where they serve the beer.

The new tasting room is spacious and clean, and we went for lunch on a Sunday to take advantage of the food trucks. What could be better than a gourmet burger to go with a pint of Chupacabra Negro or Oktoberfest? As long as you come during daylight hours children are admitted, so it's a great place for lunch on... The brand new tasting room at Oakshire is beautiful and functional. I tasted their classics as well as a few new ones, and they all were outstanding and brewed to perfection. The food carts were not operational yet, so I missed having a taco or a snack, but they will be moving from the old location, too, and they let... More

One of Eugene's best breweries! They are still a relatively small operation, but they have some of the best most interesting beers. They make the best espresso stout you will ever taste. If you go to the tasting room, you can have a tour and a chance to enjoy some of their fabulous single batch creations.

Oakshire Brewery is a little out of the way from downtown Eugene but worth the search. Closer to HWY 99 than down town. Lots of choices for your favorite style of beer. Lights, Darks, Porters, Heff(s). But I suggest the French Saison for something new and exciting. Weekends bring the full experience w/ food being served. Tasting only during the... More
