The wine was OK, the location is beautiful, we thought having a membership would be great since we would be supporting a local winery and purchase wines at a discount, and be able to attend events for members only. When I joined there was no communication about the first time for me to pick up the wine - I had... More

First visit and we were floored by the atmosphere and lively spirit. Very different from some stodgy places we've been to in the past. Although they don't grow any grapes they sure do a very nice job with the ones they bring in. Great service, good prices and some GREAT wines. It was busy, but fun to be there and... More

Short, beautiful, drive from downtown Eugene. Ladies very helpful and friendly. View spectacular! After tasting, we enjoyed a bottle, along with their cheese & crackers on their terrace. It was a great day...

The Pinot fusion is my favorite. The patio is a great place to have a bottle and relax. The tasting room is always packed at the bar. For good reason it's a nice place. Great for dates or friends love dogs but last time the winery pup to a crap right in front of where we sat and watched while... More

We visited SCW late in the day on a Sunday, and boy, were they busy! Even so, the lady behind the bar was friendly and attentive as she poured wine for customers. They have the best Riesling I've ever tasted and I purchased a bottle of Rose. If you don't mind the bustle and crowd, it would be a nice... More

We had a lovely time here, but I would recommend the Eugene-area wineries take a tip from others in the northwest (Dundee, Walla Walla, Pasco, eyc) and waive th tasting fee with purchase.

Sweet Cheeks can be what you want it to be. Depending.... If they are setting up for a private occasion or having their own event, it will be frenetic and crowded. At an off time, it can be quiet, private and pastoral. We've been here 3 times and returned and will return for the beautiful valley scenery. I like very... More

While taking some side roads on a trip to southern Oregon, we happened to drive by this place. It was a cold and wet day in January and we saw a sign that led us off our main road to the winery. We did not think it would be open but of course it was. Only one car in the... More

What can I say. I knew going back 100 days after the first time we discovered the SWEET CHEEKS gem, that my wife would hug me tighter than before. What a great experience. This time, in December 2012, it was rather quiet and we were inside about an hour before closing. Great conversation with the lady behind the bar. Great... More

It is a rainy, dark, nasty night. From what I am told this is a typical Dec. evening in Eugene, OR. The drive let us to Sweet Cheeks Winery. This in fact cause a smile to appear on each face. The pleasant knowledgeable staff narrowed our choice. They were spot on with the Tempranillo. We tried a couple bottles to... More
