This is a part of the Mount Pisgah Arboretum and the Howard Buford Recreation Area. $4 parking fee is worth it if you enjoy hiking. Sadly the maps need updated and updated trail signage. Their is a green map of the immediate area and a white map for the larger area. But their are more trails that are groomed but... More

Depending on which trail you choose, you could be in the open fields or on a woodland trail or a combination of both. Check out the map, the parking options and be sure to bring water. These trails are beautiful all year!

It is a pretty difficult hike, depending with trail you take. But once you get to the top, you're just in awe at the view. You can see the Sister Mountains on the east side and all of the surrounding cities on every side. Definitely worth the time and energy.

We have hiked this several times and are always amazed by the views at the top. It's a good hike and never feels real crowded.

Multiple trails to chose from depending on the scenery and difficulty you'd like to receive. Close to home, and plenty of parking.

Cool place to walk around, but I wouldn't advise it if you aren't in good shape. The views are beautiful. Great afternoon activity.

I had a stop at Eugene while I was road tripping in and around Oregon and then I decided on to go for this short hike to the top of my Pisgah. They have parking charges of 4 bucks per vehicle. It seems that this hike is very popular for the regular walkers and joggers from near by locales. The... More
