Mt. Pisguah is a great short hike for daily exercise and dog walking. It's so close to Eugene and Springfield that it is a smart choice for a hike with family guests and school groups. It's mostly a gently slope with a nice view of the valley at the top. If the weather is clear, you can see all of... More

My hike and berry patch were sprayed with toxic chemicals--beware. BPA, Nature Conservancy, Friends of Buford, Lane County--stop now!

This was a good hike for me and my extended family, including people of all ages and fitness levels. There were beautiful views, especially from the top.

I try to hit the trail system on Pisgah whenever I visit Eugene. Parking is 4 bucks at the bottom. There are numerous intersecting trails that lead to the top with great views of the lower Willamette valley. The trails are in great shape now with gravel and any season rain or shine is good. Nice oak trees at the... More

Wish they did not charge so much for parking. Nice place to visit. The place has a lovely stream running next to it.

A moderate, approximately 1.8 mile (one way) to-the-top hike that was definitely a bit of a workout for me. The trail was well maintained and wide enough to allow hikers to pass without having to stand to the side. The trail is very popular - we went on a Saturday and there were lots of hikers on the trail. The... More

I have been going to Pisgah for years. if you are a regular it is best to get a year pass and save quite a bit of money. Many miles of trails of all difficulties and types. The river is great and you can swim during the summer. Can get crowded but it is a large place.

Here is a perfect place for families, hikers picnickers and all who enjoy nature. We didn't hike to the top but understand it is not to difficult we walked along the river had a picnic and our grandson through rocks.

I love the hike to the top. The incense ceder forest, the arboretum, the convergence of the south and main forks of the Willamette River in the park. I was married here, and we chose it for its serenity. Many wonderful memories of this place!
