Mt. Pisgah offers a wide variety of hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty from flat to quite steep. The view from the top is fantastic with 360 degrees of view! It is beautiful and the hikes keep you in shape. Parking requires a permit which is readily available in the parking lot.

Pisgah is a beautifully kept secret. We often take our dogs and hike to the top for the spectacular views of Lane County. Most of the time the other hikers/outdoorsmen are friendly and lovely to chat with. Multiple trails to choose from, varying in intensity.

in more ways than one. The main trail is quite steep for the first mile and then calms down. It is well worth the effort once you get to the top. Views all around the Willamette Valley below are your reward. It is a very popular trail and can get very busy on nice weather weekends. Occasional problems with car... More

This is a wonderful area for hiking. The main trail is a real challenging trail, with a few super steep climbs. There is some loose gravel, so if you have weak ankles, you may not like this. There may be snakes on the trail, so if you see a snake and my husband is with me, don't point it out... More

If you haven't hiked and explored Pisgah it is totally worth it. There are a variety of ways to go up and down the trails which makes it fun and keeps the hiking fresh. I enjoy it rain or shine. The view from the top on a clear day is breathtaking especially when the Sisters are visible. Gorgeous!

Forewarning - not crazy about this place. But then, I have access to hundreds of acres a little further south of town. I can understand why people stuck in the city may like to go here. It is a wide open space, lots of places to walk to, and things to see, but I have seen many pretty locations in... More

The Mount Pisgah area includes over 4,000 acres of natural beauty at the confluence of the middle and coast forks of the Willamette River. There are hiking trails up and around mountain. This is a very hikeable mountain, at about 1,500 feet, but it affords a nice view of the area. Two organizations do great work there: the Friends of... More

Honestly, how DOES one give a bad review to a natural attraction like a mountain. Haven't figured that out yet so good thing Mt.Pisgah and the arboretum are a wonderful place to hike and learn about the Eugene area. Today was a beautiful December day, didn't even have to wear a jacket because it was warm and sunny. Get a chance... More

A medium to mildly stenuous hike up to the top but the 360 degree views are stunning. Path is well marked, but also has a great deal of poison oak along the way. Be on the watch if you are allergic. A wonderful way to spend a 2-3 hours and really "see the scenery" of Oregon from the top.
