Anyone with a passing interest should try to attend a meet at Hayward. If your interests are more architectural, the track is open most days.

My daughter was running the Eugene Marathon and the finish line was inside the stadium. We made the pilgrimage the night before and read about the history on placards outside of the stadium. It was really cool to be sitting in the stands to watch all the runners cross the finish line.

We were road tripping up to Portland, and as a T&F fan had to stop by since we were going through Eugene. Without a track meet, not much to do but take a picture... One great thing to know: there are parking meters right outside for $1.80/hour. 25 cents bought us 17 minutes which is enough to walk around the... More

This track is one of the best in the nation for hosting national events in track and field, not to mention the Olympic Trials past and in the future! We love this venue and go every chance we have. The seating is positioned so that much of it is out of the rain and you can choose whether you like... More

OK, not much to look at if you're not a track and field fan. However, if you are, do not miss an opportunity to catch a meet here if you are in town when there is one going on. The folks that attend meets here are die hard fans and/or runners and the atmosphere can be electric.

As far as fields go, I really like this one. The Eugene Track Club hosts an All-Comers meet during the summer for kids of all abilities. My daughter loves doing this.

The track has so many memories and so great times. I am very appreciative of this place for its history and culture. You can see why the US Track program uses this area as a main point

The best place to watch track and field in the US. Close to the action and knowledgeable fans. Home to major US and international meets?
