As the title suggests, Eugene OR is determined to do what it takes to be number one in Track and Field. Hayward Field was built with the future in mind. The University of Oregon is dedicated to sports programs, especially Football and Track.

We've attended many fabulous events at this famous and delightful track and field venue. Advantages include huge crowds compared to any other site in the US because locals are so into these sports thanks to our outstanding history. Another advantage is low-humidity and decent temperatures nearly all summer. And another is lots of lodging and good places to eat, plus... More

It was cool to see this track in person. Big Fan of the PRE so it was on of the sites to hit in town. The Bowerman building was open so I just walked and out on to the track. Very cool. Worth seeking out if your are a runner.

We attended the US Track & Field Championships and were just enthralled and amazed. First, Eugene makes the meet run like clockwork, it brings the community out to cheer on the athletes and it couldn't be more family friendly. Then the athletes...WOW! Just incredible! Plus, your access to the athletes is fairly open. Don't miss this amazing event.
