This venue is not only historical, but is keep in excellent condition to host world class track meets. If you get a chance to enjoy a track meet here, not only will you like the facilities, you will love the fans. Eugene supports track and field. They are educated fans who know what they like, and when they come here,... More

Went to Hayward Field for the last day of the World Junior Track & Field Championships after completing the Eugene Half Marathon in the morning. Hayward Field is known as Historic Hayward Field and Eugene is known as Track Town USA for good reason. The facility, of course, was dressed to the nines for the event, but one can tell... More

Hayward Field has so much history attached to it. From the birth place of Nike, to the amazing athletes who have competed, and the events that they have hosted. We were there for the IAAF World Junior Track & Field Championships - the first time this event has been hosted in the USA, and they dod a very good job.... More

There's not too much to say about this place. It's nothing special. It's part of the University of Oregon college athletes. Not really a tourist place unless you know someone going to that college.

Just attended day 1 of NCAA track and field championships. Historic setting and its history we documented throughout stadium by markers. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff courteous and knowledgeable. Only complaint was very high concession prices. Could be due to it being an NCAA event. But well organized. Great experience for any Pre fan or a fan... More

The only reason I did not give this an excellent rating is the bathrooms are miserable. They hold major track meets here. The crowd is wonderful. The venue is fantastic. The score board is the best. I can't believe they didn't invest in adequate facilities.

Frequently hosts the Olympic Trials, and the yearly Prefontaine Classic are highly recommended. So much history in this place!
