Visiting the University of Oregon Campus is a real delight. A somewhat sprawling campus but with many architectural signs and landscapes. You go from the old to the new with a lot of history. The art gallery is worth a visit just by it self.

As past chair and current board member of the Lane County Chapter of the U of O Alumni Associatin I feel qualified to offer this review! In fact yesterday I found myself driving around campus after a winter round of golf at Emerald Valley. Driving down University Street past the stately homes and Greek houses past the new softball stadium... More

One of the better-looking campuses around. Lots of greens, breath of fresh air. Try to go tailgating or catch a football game. The atmosphere is unbelievable.

We were in Eugene so opted to do the self-guided Animal House tour. Went by many of the most iconic locations from the movie including the administration building, the dining hall (scene of the food fight) and the dorm at Emily Dickinson College (horror of the kiln explosion). Unfortunately, the Delta House is long gone.

The consistent brick style on the outside contrasts with modern renovated interiors. The 3-floor open-plan recreational centre is to die for! The 1% art in all buildings is a nice touch, as was solar panels and other initiatives for sustainability. So nice to walk around with no cars. There's lots of trees and grass space. Beautiful campus!

The programs for Football, Track & CC, Softball W, and Base ball have been much improved over the last 5-10 years and the Soccer W, and basket ball are poised to go. Academically the school id well recognized and is well funded by mostly personal and business interests with modest funding from tax dollars.

Eugene, is a college town. There are actually a few other private colleges and universities in town, but none compare to the size and activity level of the University of Oregon. Made nationally popular by its football team the "Ducks", students are attracted from all over the country for a fine educational experience as well as fun.

And boy has it changed. There are some very new buildings here, financed primarily by Phil Knight, one of the founders of Nike shoes, and a UofO grad himself. One of the newest buildings is the Knight Arena, which, as a concert venue, has some of the biggest names to play in Eugene. The Oregon Ducks basketball team is plays... More
