Stumbled across this great market at the end of the day on Saturday. Tons of vendors with great products. Farmer's Market portion ends at 3:00 so I missed that but the rest ends at 5:00. Great food too!

We really didn't know what to expect, but we're pleasantly surprised. It is basically a collection of retail stores under one roof, lots of smells & visually appealing atmosphere. We didn't buy much but it was a great browsing experience. And oh my, upstairs is a food-court with a wide variety of cook-to-order menus. Overall clean, welcoming place to do...

If you are visiting our fair city and want to get a true taste of Eugene, this is a must do. It contains food venues and small shops - a primarily local food court, fine dining if you're into that, local shops to find unique gifts. Not quite as funky as in by-gone years, but a great way to spend...

The 5th Street Market is definitely a good representative of what you might expect of eclectic Eugene; tons shops, ethnic restaurants, even offices! Just expect to lighten your wallet - not outlet places or bargains in this mall. The good news is there are a couple of more reasonable places to eat with a couple of blocks!

I have always liked this unique downtown shopping center, but a number of stores have closed up, which is disappointing. Still, there are some really interesting places to browse including an African artifacts shop, a great gourmet food center and a fantastic kitchen shop.

I haven't been to Eugene before so while driving through late summer 2005 we stopped at a visitor’s center for recommendations about things to see. They suggested the Fifth Street Public Market so we headed over. Free parking was provided near the market.
The market is small but nice and has about 40 shops / restaurants spread out over a...

I grew up in neighboring Springfield, and lived in Eugene for 2 years. I recently moved to Portland and miss the Eugene area. I used to love to shop around at the 5th St market because not only can you get a feel of historic Eugene, but you dont even need money for some stores. Example: Uncommon Sence has many...
