The Fifth Street Public Market is an upscale shopping mall anchored by Marche, a restaurant, Provisions, a specialty food shop, and The Inn at 5th, an upscale hotel. There are numerous boutique shops aimed at the female impulse shopper. If that's you, this is the place.

This is a great little spot with many shops, restaurants and other attractions. We stayed at the Inn at 5th Street located in the market and it was a great little enclosed market atmosphere. I loved "Provisions" in the market which was an old style market with all sorts of counters and types of food. You could grab bread and... More

Beautiful place, lovely ambience. Lots of places to shop and eat. A bit spendy but one can save it all by window shopping. Nice architecture, great fountain- florist sitting area. Beautiful hotel connected next door. Nice lighting in the evening. A great place to be in. Love Gandhi's quote near the fountain.

Fifth Street Public Market in Eugene Oregon is more than just a weekly Farmer's Market...it's a shopping district. In September 2014, I spent a day looking around this area (on foot) with two of my nieces (both Eugene-ites). We were not even there on the day the Farmer's Market was taking place and still managed to kill a day looking... More

The 5th St Public market area has something for everyone. Great local eateries from the "cart" to the exclusive "Marche" restaurante. Local small shops and unique merchants abound. A great stop for out of town folks who want a "taste" of the local flavor of Eugene, in it's culture and unique style. It's the "trendy" area for both locals and... More

I visit here every Christmas to shop for unique items. It's such a nice relaxed atmosphere and I enjoy wandering through the stores, many of which connect to each other. There is now a new boutique hotel next door and all the stores were busy. Parking is very very tight. The original parking lot is suitable for only compact cars... More

There was a variety of quaint stores. Prices were rather high though. There were several places to purchase food; however, the restaurants did not stay open very long. They were closed by 8:00 on several nights when we attempted to get a late supper. The food was very good. There was a nice outside seating area on the lower level.
