Beautiful place but has obnoxious and completely unprofessional rangers! They are extremely rude. If you like going to bed at 10pm and wouldn't mind not being allowed to laugh because even a small laugh is too "loud" then this is the camp site for you! More

love this place go every year for the 4th of july fireworks they always have the display the weekend prior to the 4th. the locals are amazingly friendly everything is prety cheap water is warm and the seceanery is beautiful! More

The park is easy to get to and spread along the lake with swimming and boat docks. Ranger program for young children was wonderful. A great family time! More

Nice Lake View! Campground Quiet And Peaceful! Hosts helpful and informative. The "gift shop" is cool. The money spent there stays there for the parks benefit. Firewood available! More

Campsites are close together and crowded in summer. But the lake is lovely, cool and expansive. Kids love it. More

Detroit Lake State Park is a friendly, family oriented camping area. The Park Rangers and the Park Hosts are friendly and service oriented so that you have a great camping experience.
