This was so good. I love whale watching tours and have done them in Alaska, Maine, Cape Cod, Hawaii, and Washington State. THIS WAS THE BEST!! Zodiacs are the best way to see whales and these whales are right off the shore, very very close to shore. We were seeing greys within 15 minutes of leaving the very tiny harbor.... More

Went out with captain Gary and 2 other people. Gary was vary accommodating and wanted everyone to see the whales. He was very knowledgeable about whales and other marine life. He was constantly engaging us in conversation. We saw whales that morning - he made the trip comfortable and pleasurable. We had a great time on the Zodiac. My wife... More

One of the best grey whale watching adventure on the Oregon Coast, great guides, fun trips in rigid bottom rafts. Very safe and inexpensive. The salt water breeze and bird's are wonderful, sea lions basking on bouy at eye level, good photo opportunity abound.

Been out with Capt Gary several times over the years and he doesn't disappoint. We've seen whales each time we've gone and even though there are no guarantees in wildlife watching, Gary is as good as anyone at finding the resident gray whales. We never felt the least bit anxious either when the seas got rough. You do have to... More

My wife thoroughly researched this tour and was told by the tour operator that a 1.5 hour whale watching experience would cost $22/person on a 26 foot boat. When we checked in we were informed the price would be $36/person ($72 for the two of us vs. an original quote of $44). The receptionist explained that they were using a... More

This was our first time out watching grey whales, it was an amazing adventure! We were able to see the whales up close, we saw at least 5-6 different whales on our excursion! Gary was very informative and knowledgeable. We always felt safe while out on the water. We had an absolute blast, it definitely was one of the highlights... More

This was one of the most memorable experiences of my life! Our captain, Gary knew exactly how to maneuver the boat to give us most amazing views of the whales! I can't wait to come again soon!

What a wonderful whale watching experience! We arrived @ 7:30 am to check in at Depoe bay docks. The weather was a bit chilly but we had layered up and it was fine. Actually it was perfect- the sun was shining and no wind or fog which according to our guide was this only happens 5% of the time. We... More

Delayed a day due to the weather, but well worth the journey from Portland. Gary was great, helping us spot whales by sound and scent. We even saw Eagle Eye!

This was the most fun day for all of us. We saw several whales - they swam right under us. The captain was wonderful. The ride was so much fun. Great value for the price! Highly recommended! We will do this again. Thanks Capt Gary.
