I think this was a neat thing that allowed me to cross am item off my bucket list. We saw a whale but I want to return during the migrating season for better views. Be sure to find the online coupon!

WOW, it was so fun. Our captain was great as were the deck hands. Every time I needed bait, they were there to assist. We caught rock fish and ling Cod, for 7 $ extra, you could throw a crab pot out,Out of 6 pots we were able to divide them up to 8 crabs each.We got 16,which was more... More

Just a quick note that this trip was in Newport not Depoe Bay. Not too sure how to change locations on review More

We took the one-hour whale cruise to see grey whales. There is a resident group that hang out between Depoe Bay and Newport and I've always wanted to go on one of these boat tours. It was a little choppy the day we went and we didn't see any whales, but it was fun just being on the boat and... More

This was a one hour adventure, not too far off shore, looking for whales. Before long, we spotted one lone gray whale staying close to shore. We were tracking the whale as it went south along the shore line by watching for the mist of water coming from it's spout as it surfaced. Suddenly, the whale just disappeared only to... More

I found this guys online and what attracted me to their service is that they update their website daily with the "Whale watch report" and whether or not the weather is good to go out to sea. We were so lucky! The whale we found was playful and friendly and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Finding a... More

I tried to make a whale watching reservation a few days in advance for our trip to the coast but was advised to call when we got there to make sure the weather wasn't too bad. I did and was told they would not be running on Sunday (when we wanted to go) but that the next day would probably... More

Let me start off by saying I have been on many whale watching trips, so I am not stranger to the rough waters, But on Saturday the 15th was the worst ever. Tradewinds decided to go out on the whale watching tour even though the weather said we shouldnt have. Two of the other whale watching companies cancelled for the... More

Last weekend 3/15/2014, I visited Depoe Bay with friends to celebrate our March birthdays. We decided to book a whale watching excursion as we all love whales and have been whale watching several times. We originally scheduled our excursion with a company that had a small vessel but the company called and canceled and said that due to the weather... More

We have had a rare week of beautiful weather and good sea conditions. We had a great time aboard the Tacklebuster. We were a party of six which included my 8 & 12 year old nieces and my 85 year old mother. This was a five hour bottom fish trip and everyone caught fish. Chris our deckhand was kept busy... More
