We did a tuna trip last summer on the Kadaho. Awesome boat! Unfortunately, the boat was over sold, so we had 16 guys trying to fish. Not enough poles to go around. There were probably 16 poles, but the 6-8 that catch fish are usually on or near the stern of the boat. So we were told to rotate through... More

I have fished with these people since I was 12 years old. John Kennedy was president then, so you know how long ago that was. Their boats are very trustworthy and their skippers are very knowledgeable and helpful. the trip out is very exciting as you have to exit the bay through a very narrow channel1 Good luck fishing!!

My sister-in-law and I took the 1 hour whale watching trip and it was awesome! Saw lots of whales. Personnel were friendly and informative. Looked like a great company to use for charter fishing as well, as lots of salmon and crabs were being cleaned at the cleaning table as we left.

Crew friendly. Seen a whale within the first 5 minutes! Crew pointed out every whale that was spotted.

My daughter and I went on a half day bottom fishing trip and had a blast! Neither of us had much experience fishing, and the staff was really helpful and fun. We both caught lots of rockfish, and my daughter caught a big ling cod that everyone was admiring! It was great to have them filleted right at the port... More

on the boat getting outside of the bay is the best part, also chasing the whale is so bumpy. At the end we saw whales. But we saw them even better from the shore. The price for a one hour cruise was acceptable. So in total - do it

Did an ashes at sea charter, it was short. Not sure what we were expecting, but it was pretty much go out for 10 minutes, stop for five, and head back to the marina. Second time we've used tradewinds for something- a couple summers ago we used them for a bottom fishing experience. Kind of surprised the captain was iffy... More

This was the cheapest charter we found along the Oregon coast, maybe because they can hold up to 22ppl. We did just the bottom fishing package and went out on the early morning trip. There was a coffee shop open early for food and coffee and the charter also offers free coffee on the boat. The captain and skipper were... More

One of the most memorable fishing charters I've ever had; better even than the Halibut trip I took out of Valdez, AK. Boated 71 albacore; crew was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and handled all the logistics well. The costs were reasonable and although there were 13 fishermen on the trip, the big Kadaho had plenty of room for all and it... More
