I have been to a lot of campuses throughout the NW, and this is one of the nicest ones. In the spring time, the streets are littered with beautiful trees and plants of all colors, and everything is in full bloom. The people are very friendly, and there is a lot to do and many things to explore on campus,... More

I am a proud engineering graduate of OSU. OSU provide me with a solid engineering background to take on any challenge and to thrive as an engineer. Visiting the campus recently, I am amazed with the heavy expansion and updates. Please place OSU on your list to consider when majoring in engineering.

OSU is land grant college. Its agriculture, forestry. oceanography have ranked top in US. In recent years it has developed many very good engineering programs. The campus is green and beautiful.

A very grand and historical university. Some of the buildings looked like those that were found in movies. It does have a number of newer buildings that blends in well together with the old. It offers several courses that are not easily available. It has a variety of students from within USA and overseas as well. Loved the Beaver, Benny... More

We just drove through the area - I like to see what college towns and campuses look like. Other than the construction work (that seems ongoing on all campuses these days) it was great! I loved the look and feel of both the town and the campus. Seemed inviting, friendly and easy to get around. I would suggest visiting!

Not sure why Oregon State University doesn't routinely make lists of most beautiful campuses. OSU and the University of Colorado are the most attractive universities in the western U.S. in my opinion. A National Historic District, great architecture, lovely landscaping, minimal vehicle access all contribute to an understated, elegant college. Corvallis is really nice college town too, right on the... More

I work as faculty on campus, there is a lot of new construction. The buildings are open to the public most days and many hours. All of the newer buildings have food venues -- coffee, pastries, lunch. Go to the MU (Memorial Union) at the center of campus for fast food and some sit down dining. The campus hosts frequent... More

OSU has a gorgeous campus, particularly in the Spring with literally hundreds of different kinds of trees and shrubs to admire. A great deal of construction has occurred in the past decade so a lot of newer buildings but many of the old buildings such as Weatherford have been refurbished and for those interested, a lot of incredible architecture to... Took my oldest to check out OSU as a prospect for college next year. Had an excellent tour given to us by a senior. .this was her final tour as she graduated this past Saturday (yesterday). She was SO informative and incredibly non stop knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Such an incredibly beautiful campus and was pleasantly surprised by... More
