I have been to this theatre four times. Each time the first act was amazing and more than worth the price BUT each time also the second act was terrible. I don't understand what they are attempting to do in their second acts. I will continue to go to their shows but will leave at end of first act.

We saw the theatrical version of the story from Alfred Hitchcock's film The 39 Steps. Only four actors played the parts of the many characters and they did a good job. This production was low tech and emphasized the funny bits, with intentional miscues on the part of the sound and lighting crew. A good time was had by all.

We do like to catch a production at the Coaster theater. There are no bad seats and availability seems good when we are there. We have now gotten to know some of the actors and have our favorites. Good value also.

Every seat is a good seat in this small community theatre. Just saw 39 Steps...it was funny, fast paced entertainment. For $20, it's a good way to spend an evening in Cannon Beach.

For a small town theatre group, this was very well done. The production lacked some pace because the actors are also the stagehands. There were some very funny scenes, even with strained English accents by Americans. Quick changes by the four actors were quite fun. We'll be back next month for a different production.

I can't wait to move to the coast so I can be a season ticket holder at this north coast institution. We saw Present Laughter by Noel Coward. I love Noel Coward and this was a delightful production. Perfect date night. And it was directed by George Dzundza who I loved in Law and Order way back when. The woman... More

On a whim, we bought tickets to Present Laughter, a Noel Coward play - we have not been to a play in a very long time, and this one was very well done and very entertaining - highly recommended

Saw "Gramercy Ghost" at the quaint Coaster Theater. It was closing night to a sold out crowd. Can't wait to get back to Cannon Beach again and will most certainly take in another play. Applause. Applause.

I applaud the actors' efforts. It isn't easy to get up and perform in front of an audience of people. But this season's production of White Christmas was not well done. Given the other reviews here, perhaps this show is an anomaly. Is there a change in leadership?
