We have to go every time we visit Cannon Beach. The kids have so much fun watching them pull taffy through the window and tasting the samples. Everyone loves a specialty caramel apple to share and there are a lot of varieties to choose from. Don't forget some cashew turtles to share by the fireplace later that night. Super fun!

It is not a complete trip to the beach without a visit to Bruce's Candy Kitchen. I have been enjoying the smells and sights at Bruce's for 51 years! I love that the screen door slams as you walk in and that immediately the aroma of freshly made candy tempts your tastes buds. We always choose from the huge selection... More

This isn't just a candy store - it's a novelty candy store. There were all kinds of different candies and chocolates to choose from. We ended up spending around $50 in sugary products for just the TWO of us. Found some out of the ordinary fudges and chocolates. Delicious! Definitely worth the visit

We were in Cannon Beach for three days and went here every day because we kept thinking of things that we were sorry we did not buy the first time! The selection of greeting cards can keep you entertained (and laughing out loud) for as long as you want to stand there. Lots of fun party favors and unique candies... More

If you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, or find just the perfect sweetie for your sweetie, this is the place to go. If it exists, they have it. We were happy to see the saltwater taffy machine in the process of taffy-pulling; and the cutting and wrapping machine is a beautiful vintage machine. It is imperative we stop... More

We've been visiting Bruce's for years, there are candy shops all up and down our coastline but there's only one Bruce's! Huge selection of candy and lots of interesting odds and ends in the shop as well. I think if I tried to pass this place by my family would throw me out of the car :)

Yes it's a candy shop. But so much more. Never mind the fact it has amazing candy in so many assortments. And of course the salt water taffy. But I'm recommending this place for the fun! Went in with my girlfriend and she said she was watching me act like a child. Now that's not meant as a bad thing.... More

My family and I have traveled to Cannon Beach for 26 years. My children are grown but this is always there first stop in town. Always fun treasures to find and great candy. The kids always take home some salt water taffy. Turtles and Sea Form are my favorite.

A great little candy shop for big and little kids but watch the food labels - sorbitol and vanillan abound! Vanillan - a waste product from pulp and paper mills cannot be absorbed into our bodies - and sorbitol - well perhaps not the healthiest thing to feed our kids! Having said that - watching the salt water taffy being... More

Had such fun in July 2013 taking my own child to a favorite place from my own childhood. Bruce's never fails to bug out kids' eyes & it's really fun to see your own kids savor it all, just like you did when you could barely see over the counter.
