Beautiful Place!

Great visits. The festival was beautiful as well as the other trips I have made to see and photograph the dahlias.

If you love flowers and just enjoy looking at beautiful big blooms this is a place to be. The festival includes foods, miscellaneous booths, and how-tos. The cellar is full of amazing huge bouquets up front and personal. Stroll the fields on a sunny day to imagine what a group planting would look like in your yard. First class bulbs.... More

Acres of gorgeous, blooming flowers in every color of the rainbow! Every conceivable type, size and shape. I really enjoyed just walking around and taking pictures. I was able to pick my favorites and order for next Spring; the tubers will be shipped to me:) Highly recommended. I advise going on a day OTHER THAN their public open house if... More

My wife and I visited the dahlia farm during its festival on Labor Day Saturday. The festival was outstanding. My wife is a real dahlia expert and she was delighted with all she saw and with the variety of blooms. They had extravagant indoor displays and the fields of flowers were beautiful. Of course, orders could be placed for tubers... More

The world's biggest dahlia farm, and it goes for acres and acres. During their festival in August, they have the most magnificent displays of cut dahlias that you could ever imagine.

Tried to go last weekend. We parked and the parking attendant yelled at us. We were not in the way and in a parking spot. Should really watch your parking staff and who you hire. We weren't the only ones he turned away. Last year was great. Will try next year.

Swan Island Dahlias is an 89 year old 40 acre Dahlia Farm. As far as you can see are acres and acres of Dahlias. The festival is in early September for two weekends and so worth going to. Each row of flowers is different from the next. The catalog pictures can not really do the flowers justice. This is a... More

Beautiful fields of flowers. This farm is set up for crowds of people during the season with plenty of signs and parking.

Visited Swan Island Festival over Labor Day weekend...the flowers were in full bloom and an array of color. Due to recent rains, the flowers were not at their best, of course this has to do with its getting to end of season...We enjoyed the walk through the gardens and displays, but I actually was expecting more...We did order some tubers... Great fun. Went durning festival season last year (Sept 2014) and the year before and had a great time. I never knew there were so many varieties or how to care for them. So many beautiful arrangements in the main hall, fields full of flowers and fun food and gifts to purchase. Fun!
