Really...this is a charming hotel on the Oregon Beach!

Best gem...stay at the Best Western Beachfront Inn! Super nice folks, great rooms with beachfront balconies, and breakfast is included. Also dog friendly.

Brookings Oregon is so close to Crescent City. It is a nice 20-30 minute drive. Head to Fred Meyer (store) and get cheap gas. You can also shop and not pay taxes. Lots of restaurants to chose from.

So much to see and do! Summertime - July the Kite Festival, August the Pirates arrive...what fun! You will find Azaela Park - great for May and June....many beaches, shops and a nice variety of restaurants. Locals are very friendly and helpful Range of motels and RV parks - very enjoyable. Going back next year!

Just north of the California border, this small coastal town offers a variety of things to do to suit most travelers. The harbor, in Harbor,OR is just south on the south side of the Chetco River. A harbor it is. Both commercial and sport craft have a snug, safe harbor with full facilities.

We had always thought of Brookings as a second-class town on the Oregon coast, coming up short in comparison with our favorite escape from the heat of the Rogue Valley, Bandon. But, after a week here, no more. Brookings has everything to offer -- some of the finest beaches in Oregon. The Boardman State Park area is a real gem.

Brookings is a quiet town with beautiful views. There isn't a whole lot to do unless you love beach combing and fishing. Reading and watching the ocean is nice too!

This is a fun little town. It has a nice variety of motels and vacation rentals, with a few real gems of restaurants. Moreover, there are good beaches and parks to visit on the coast and up the Chetco River. We spent three days and thoroughtly enjoyed ourselves. First weekend in August, be sure to visit the town art fair.

More modern day than other Coastal Oregon towns. Not like Newport and other coastal towns that have that Historic feel. Nice town
