Salmon Run is a beauty of a tough to play Golf Course. The Fairways are very narrow and course knowledge or a sharp eye is needed to know where to play the ball for a good roll or lie. Many holes require the use of a small wood for a good safe tee shot or one that will not run... More

I've never written a review before but felt compelled to do so after playing Salmon Run. This is one the most beautiful settings (if not most) I've ever been in to play golf. The layout is an excellent test of golf requiring accuracy, especially from the back tees where one needs to play out of chutes (which I love.) It... More

About a 3 mile drive off 101 lies this picture perfect course that you will fall in love with. Im sure the locals want to keep it a secrete, but the truth is, they need visitor business to keep the place going. you will enjoy every hole here, many of which are so beautiful, you will stand in awe from... My husband and I were driving up the Coast on our way to Seattle. Had read a few things about the Salmon Run Golf Course and decided to make a side trip to play. Glad that we did. It was a fun course-- pretty, curvy and a little rough. Price was right. Pack a few extra balls. Don't want to... More

We were traveling up the coast from SF to Seattle and decided to play Salmon Run. It is a unique layout and worth playing if you are in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in good shape for this time of year and the pace of play for us was great. If you can't... More

The price is right and the course is demanding and beautiful. Friendly staff and neat little clubhouse. Very well laid out track and you cannot always hit driver off the tee. A few holes have long drops to the fairway or green. Some water and lots of trees. It is great standing on a par 3 and smelling the redwoods.... More

Must be able to hit fairways consistently or your ball is gone. Well maintained, $50 including cart (which is a must) due to course being very hilly. Deer hang out on the greens, great nature setting. About 5 miles east off Hwy 101, easy access.

You must bring or rent an electric golf cart. The course is full of hills and valleys. From the newspaper, the business is in financial trouble. Better courses in other towns. Try Bandon, Oregon.

After two days of rain while staying in Brookings, the sun finally broke through! We decided to break out the clubs and try this course while the sun lasted and we were not disappointed! As previous reviews note, there are deer (almost on every hole), beautiful vistas, an abundance of elevated tees and greens, and lots and lots of challenge.... More
