There are several pull offs that offers views of the ocean. Our hats are off to Oregon for having so many great parks along the coast. This southern coast of Oregon is rugged and the ocean waves seemed to be larger than the northern coast. You can spend an afternoon just doing the pull offs.

This is always a great place to stop and see the tide pools and starfish. Beauty in every direction. Huge rocks with the waves lapping away is worth the short drive down.

It was such a beautiful, sunny day to take in the sites and take pictures. To just stop and smell the clean ocean air.

This stretch of the Oregon Coast Hwy is so beautiful! Lots of little pullouts and overlooks to take in the beautiful Ocean.. We made several stops but our favorite was the views of the natural bridge/arch. It's just a short little hike to a beautiful view. Think no matter were you pull over you will be amazed

This State Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Oregon. Spectacular ocean scenery. Lots of accessibility from Hwy 101.

Just north of the Thomas Creek Bridge is the turnout for Natural Bridges Cove. It looks like a parking lot but there is a trail through the old growth woods leading to a beautiful view of 3 natural arches.

We were fortunate to be driving north from Brookings to Gold Beach on a spectacularly beautiful day at the Oregon Coast (many times it's been foggy, although this is the 'Sunshine Belt' of the state). We stopped at many of the recommended views all along the drive, including Arch Rock at Boardman State Park, and commented they were equal to... More

Many scenic viewpoints along 101. Easier to access if you are driving south as you won't have to cut across opposite direction traffic entering and exiting the turnoffs. Hit 'em all - they make for great memories/photos.
