We camped with grandchildren. Campground is well laid-out so that even though there are a lot of campsites, they are tucked into the trees and shrubs providing a feeling of privacy. It is well-tended and a delightful place to camp. The shore lives up to its wonderful description, with a diversity of rocks, sandy beach, and tide pools. There are... More

What an incredible seashore with miles to hike and explore. There are many pull-outs and lots of trails down to the various beaches.

Beautiful trails through sitka spruce forests to breath-taking ocean vistas, often very high above the surf. Some trails do meander down rugged trail (moderate to strenuous) to a beautiful beach.

I drive by the State Parks everyday and frequently stop by one of them. Great views of ocean & sunsets. There are hiking trails from, I believe, all oh these. Lone Ranch my favorite beach in Brookings. Please stop by and enjoy one or all of them. You won't regret it.

Worth the short walk to see the beautiful Fairytale Cove where the water passes through three arches.

Take advantage of the several pull-out to take peeks through the trees, and along the short trails to glimpse this rugged coastline!

The Samuel H Boardman State Scenic Corridor on Highway 101 from mile marker 344.1 to 353.3 has got to be the most spectacular 9 miles on the Oregon Coast, if not the entire Pacific Coast. We drove from Brookings north to Gold Beach - and spent over two hours on that nine mile stretch. There are dozens of scenic viewpoints... More

Does not take long to walk this path and it's not a hard path either. Leisurely stroll n amongst Mother Earth and nature. Ensure to look out for more than one. There's one on the right and there's 2 more straight ahead. I think further along this state park there's also the arch bridge. This entire stretch is wonderful. We... More
