A great place to watch a river NATURALLY enter the ocean. The assortment of books, maps and guides is excellent. The Ranger staff are fabulous: helpful, knowledgeable, and will to share their time. Good parking. Average, but interesting handicap accessible trails.

Nice beach easy walk from parking lot. Large visitor center that closes at lunch. Not too welcoming. Clean bathrooms. Lots of steps

This is really a wonderful place to learn about the area and the Oregon coast. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a river sanctuary to observe birds. My biggest disappointment is there use to be a trail that went through the trees making a loop back to the parking lot. It was a magical place where you walked... More

This nice little beachfront park was the finale of the Columbia-River-Oregon-Coast-historical tour. The Marylander loved the razor clams; the New Englander was impressed by the rocks and trees, and the Californian loved the wildlife. "Here endeth.."

The visitor center/information center-worthy of 5 stars, but the lack of it being a park that could accommodate overnight camping--well, that wouldn't get a rating at all, since there isn't any.

This is a nice beach for walking and building sand castles. It is a state beach so you are asked not to beach comb for plants, wood or shells and to keep your dog on a leash but no one seemed to pay any attention to the rules. It was still a nice stroll along the waters edge and down... More

I like the inlet, it's safe for kids. They had nice and clean bathrooms, but there's nowhere to clean you sandy feet.
