I just completed the Women's Workshop about 3 hours ago. I am in awe of the women in my group and completely in awe with the instructor Rebecca Benoit. It was an amazing educational experience that left me feeling confident and ready to tackle some of the challenges I was having with light and exposure. This workshop was one of... More

My teenage daughter and I attended the Painted Hills workshop. We were the only novice photographers on the tour. Christian did an exceptional job of instructing the two of us without holding the more seasoned attendees back. The other attendees were very friendly and helpful, as well. We both left the workshop with beautiful photos and much improved confidence and... More

Cascade Center of Photography is a great way to experience the beauty of Central Oregon, and improve your outdoor photography at the same time! The workshop I attended included one evening on the beautiful McKenzie pass, including Scott Lake, and the lava fields beneath a full moon. The next morning we shot at Paulina Peak at sunrise. And even though... More

The purpose of this workshop was to travel to Crater Lake and photograph it both at sunset and sunrise and to receive hands on instruction regarding star photography. Unfortunately, due to numerous fires in the area, neither the lake or stars were visible the first evening. Quickly adapting, our guides, Sean Bagshaw and Christian Heeb, took us to a spectacular... Fun, hands-on photography workshops in the beautiful surroundings of Bend, Oregon (and beyond). Class takes you to some of the most stunning sights in Central Oregon - waterfalls, mountain peaks and scenic lakes where you learn techniques for capturing the landscapes. Various levels of workshops from beginner to advanced.

I embarked on the "Treasures Of Central America" tour that was presented by the Cascades Center of Photography. My goal was to expand my skills and knowledge of photography, while visiting unique destinations that your typical "tourists" tours can not provide. My goals were fulfilled and then some! From the Embera Indians of Panama to the cloud forest, beaches and... More

I attended a weekend workshop at Cascade Center of Photography, held by Sean Bagshaw & Zack Schnepf. It was about the use of different kinds of natural light in your shots. The place it was held at was amazing and the people who coordinated the event were so nice and cheerful. They made sure we were comfortable. Looking forward to... More

I attended my first class at the Cascade Center this past weekend at Sparks Lake. Two trips - dusk and dawn - sadly produced no setting or rising sun, however it nonetheless resulted in a rewarding experience and lots of interesting pictures. Christian was very hands on and informative and the entire group added to the enjoyable experience. I plan... More
