This is a beautiful easy hike to do for any level of hiker. The water here is also very shallow and easy to swim in so don't forget your swimsuits! My kids loved catching tadpoles and frogs along the shore and swimming in the lake. Along the way they were beautiful wildflowers and picturesque views of Brokentop and Bachelor.

Easy walk to lake from parking area. Small but very scenic and places to fish off bank or launch your kayak or canoe and catch some Brook trout

The 1.4 mile hike is not difficult, but there are wet places. You may want to wear old tennis shoes or hiking boots. Go early and enjoy the pure beauty of this place. We took a picnic lunch.

Awesome walk around the lake. Nobody should stay at the beginning of the lake but walk to the other side with its beautiful flowers and meadows and little creeks winding through the green grass. Up there it might be a little muddy.

Very pretty lake, easy walk in, great to float around in. Can walk past lake and hike up to Broken top or to Green Lakes.

I've been to Bend, OR five times, and I've always visited Todd Lake, even one year when snow blocked the road to the parking area - in July - and I had to hike in. Other that that one time I've always hiked all the way around the lake, and once climbed the ridge above the lake for spectacular views... More

Twenty minutes outside of the city is picture perfect Todd Lake. It is an easy, easy hike for all, including kids. The wildflowers are starting to bloom, the water is crisp and clear and the mountain views breath taking. On a hot summer Central Oregon day, this is a great place to picnic, meander, breathe in the cool air and... More

You can hike around it, but it is muddy on the far end. You can also ski or hike from the Mt. Bachelor parking lot where you can leave your car, or in the small lot, on the left of Century Drive & ski or hike up the trail which leads to the Broken Top trailhead.

This area is gorgeous year round. My favorite time is in the winter - cross country ski into the lake, then make your way around the lake. Pack a lunch & enjoy the incredible scenery!

Went here en route to Crater Lake, so decided to go around several of the lakes. This one had lovely views of the mountains, and an easy walk around the lake if you wanted, or just a nice place to have a picnic. Worth a detour.
