Great hike in the summer or snowshoeing in the winter

A great day spot for a hike around the lake. Easy access and very easy to hike around the lake. In the winter you can feed the birds.

We walked around the lake with friends and only saw one other couple. Crystal clear and abundant with bird life.

This is an easy side trip from Mt. Bachelor. The lodge at Mt. Bachelor has maps and wonderful staff to offer suggestions for hikes. Todd Lake is easy to get to, easy hike with beautiful views.

This lake is beautiful any time of year. We took our extended family there this summer. It is small enough that even our two year old could hike around it! The lake is great for hiking, swimming, cross country skiing, and just being in nature.

Lovely easy hike for young and old alike. Had a three year old and a dog with us who both loved traipsing thru the beautiful clear water. Hike is pretty flat and has gorgeous views of Bachelor Mountain. We took a picnic but not really anywhere to eat so we just sat on one of the the little foot bridges.... More

A beautiful place to hike. The views, the smells, the wild flowers, the mountains, the water . . . all are spectacular. Take an hour and hike completely around the lake, it's worth it. Take some bug spray - the far end of the lake (from the parking area) can get buggy in the hotter months. And of course, bring... More

Todd Lake provides several walking options - a simple ten minute hike in to the top of the lake or an hour plus walk around the entire lake. If you have time definitely go with the latter - there are many pretty vistas and a large meadow at the far end of the lake. If the sky is clear you... More

After making a fairly rigorous hike up a mountain, we looked for a quiet, peaceful area to have lunch. A wildlife volunteer suggested Todd lake. A great referral. The lake is nestled in a wooded area. Today, the weather was beautiful. Some folks on horseback, a few people out with their dogs. Picture postcard perfect.

The drive to Todd lake is long and rough. It always takes longer than you think. The water is so, low kayakers have to get out to push. We walked half the trail around the lake and back. Very nice hike.
